The past year has not been the best for the former boy bander’s solo world tour. He has faced many hardships that appear to have taken a toll on his career.
The final nail in Justin Timberlake’s professional coffin comes just days after the singer canceled his last show on his tour stop in Columbus, Ohio, just minutes before he was scheduled to take the stage. The sudden cancellation left numerous fans leaving the Nationwide Arena furious and disappointed with Timberlake.
Justin hopped on Instagram to apologize to his fans, stating that he was fighting the flu and had become too ill to perform. Despite his excuses, most of his followers did not buy his excuse and blamed poor ticket sales for the cancellation. This was the second time Timberlake had canceled on his Columbus fans.
“He canceled the show in Ohio 12 minutes before it was to start? What a rotten thing to do. Justin’s certainly proved in the past 3 years that he’s no longer anyone’s golden boy,” one angry fan shares.
Some believe that the 2024-2025 Forget Tomorrow Tour World Tour was cursed from the start. Most of Justin Timberlake’s fans recall the singer’s troubles started in April 2024, following his DWI arrest in Sag Harbor. From then on, it was one humiliating incident after the next for Timberlake.
Throughout the tour, fans suggested that Karma appeared to be coming after Justin Timberlake. Longtime fans were also unhappy with Justin’s setlist. He also faced a lot of heat from fans who deemed the show an epic fail. They were angry that Justin performed too many new songs instead of his fan favorites.
Karma Has Its Way With Humiliated Justin Timberlake
The Daily Mail reports sources close to Justin Timberlake reveal, “He understands why people are upset with him for canceling some of his shows or disappointed in his concerts for not having enough of his old music.” However, Justin never expected his fans to turn on him so harshly.
Justin is concerned that his solo career could be over. He is desperate to save face and is willing to swallow his pride to do whatever it takes to save his career. Even if it means he has to go slimming back to his former boyband members NSYNC and admit defeat.
He needs to win back his fans. The poor response to the album and tour made him realize he needed to give his fans what they had been asking for: an NSYNC Reunion Tour. Justin has paid close attention to what such a reunion tour has done for the 90s rival boyband, the Back Street Boys.
Now, with everything that has taken place, Justin may have no other alternative than to return to NSYNC with his hat in his hand. Justin Timberlake reportedly feels a reunion will get him back on track with fans.
“He told his former bandmates that he wouldn’t tour with them, and now he needs to get the band back together to save himself. I hope they laugh in his face, give him the finger then push him out of the room,” scoffs another irate fan.
So far, the NSYNC reunion is not official. However, it could be Justin Timberlake’s last attempt to reset his struggling career. Of course, that is if JC Chasez, Joey Fatone, Chris Kirkpatrick, and Lance Bass are willing to give Justin another chance.
