Hairstylists should never shame a customer over their hair condition. What they should do instead is to give advice while keeping in mind the customer’s feelings. Well, a Pennsylvania hairstylist didn’t do that and chose to be aggressive instead. She shared a video where she was working on a woman’s hair and everything she said to her was horrible. The hairstylist didn’t like the woman’s hair condition and she didn’t have any problem telling her that. She started saying that she has been in the business for about 24 years. In all these years, the woman’s hair was “the worst” she had ever seen. What kind of person would say that to someone’s face?
The Pennsylvania hairstylist kept going as she explained to the woman why her hair was the worst she had ever seen. She blamed the fact that the woman hadn’t had a haircut in 15 years and that she also put box color on top of it. Even if this was wrong for her hair, the hairstylist should have never talked like that. She could have just started working on it, but she kept humiliating her. The hairstylist then held a long part of the woman’s hair and told her that she had to cut all of it. She even told her that she could see the TV through the part of her hair that she was holding. “It looks bad,” was another thing that she said.
To make matters even worse, the Pennsylvania hairstylist compared the woman’s hair to a dead person. She then kept going back and forth with the customer using the same aggressive attitude. She was convinced that the only solution would be to cut off the woman’s hair and make her start over again. Even if this were the case, there are dozens of better ways she could have delivered this. Since her attitude was hurtful, people dragged her for how she treated the woman. She ended up making her profile private, but it was too late since the video was reposted by different accounts.
People Reacting to the Heartless Pennsylvania Hairstylist’s Attitude
The majority of people agreed that the Pennsylvania hairstylist was being heartless with the way she talked to her customer. This is why one person asked, “Why is she so aggressive?” Others hated what the hairstylist did to the point where they started talking about her looks. For example, someone replied to the question and said, “Because she doesn’t have hair.” One woman also wrote, “Exactly why bald stylists can’t do my hair.” Another woman replied, “I always say, don’t trust women who don’t have hair as long as yours. A lot of bald headed women have jealous spirits.” A third woman believed that the hairstylist was excited about cutting off the customer’s hair as she said, “she was so ready for that girl to give in and let her cut it.”
More people criticized the Pennsylvania hairstylist’s attitude. “Umm this is not about hair. This is about power. This was way too much,” one person commented. Another person shared how they would have reacted as they said, “I would have proceeded out the door.” The woman should have definitely left. One woman also wrote, “I hope and pray she went and got another opinion. I knoww i didnt go to school but i dont feel like that girl would have to cut all her hair off.” This made another woman reply, “She doesn’t….A trim would have been fine! Her hair is not dead! If it was it would not be that long! Hair needs oxygen to grow if it’s dead the oxygen can’t help….she has a healthy scalp that’s for sure because her length and thickness is a indicator of that.” Hopefully, she ended up finding a better hairstylist.
