Residents of St. Paul and Minneapolis recently reported a terrifying situation involving unknown men targeting immigrants in the region. Minnesota has been heavily targeted by ICE operations in 2026, and the situation appears far from improving. These men, however, claim they are not members of the immigration agency and have reportedly been chasing immigrants in the area while heavily armed.

In a video circulating on social media, a group of four armed men can be seen apprehending an immigrant in Minneapolis. When asked to show a warrant, one of the men simply replied “[expletive] you” and kept moving. Before leaving, they also threatened the people nearby, warning them not to follow.

According to the person who recorded the footage, these alleged bounty hunters used a white van with a fake company decal on the side with a number that is not in service.

In another video, the alleged bounty hunters are seen in downtown Minneapolis. They are driving the same van and pull a weapon on observers. Local police were at the scene, but the individuals were able to leave in their vehicle.

These events terrified locals, who used social media to describe the event as “straight up terrifying.” According to one Minnesota resident, “This is a crime,”  arguing that the men are not government agents and appear to be openly threatening people on the street.

Some folks also complained about the police’s inaction in these scenes: “Police are not there to protect and serve. Their job is to arrest and feed people into the prison system. Cops aren’t your friends.” Others urged people to take matters into their own hands: “The police don’t take action against people who are likely armed. Arm yourselves.”

A few people online were also skeptical about the men’s origins. One person asked if they were local bounty hunters, as they claimed, “Why do they all have southern accents and drive a utility van for a company that isn’t in business anymore?”

Others were enraged that these men were able to walk free after terrorizing locals: “Why isn’t this domestic terrorist being arrested and indicted?”
