An Arizona woman’s move to Tennessee has been stressful thanks to harassment from a Karen living next door. The neighbor accuses the woman of causing noise, being rude, jamming the road, having lights, and owning a scary dog. The video begins with the neighbor telling her, “We respect the noise level.” This turns into a more heated tirade when she claims, “I’m just not comfortable with you.”
The woman politely asks, “What have I done?” The answer: “Everything around here is all the time crowded.” The Arizona woman has been in the middle of moving into the new house. Despite knowing “[she] has to have time to move in,” the neighbor says that she’s “getting nervous with noise and things not working right.” The neighbor claims that the woman’s mother called her nuts and then accuses the woman of “feeling like [she] can do whatever [she] wants to.” The woman wants to know, “So you’re saying I have to ask for permission to do anything in my own house?”
The Arizona woman explains, “We were just moving the motorcycle from the front yard to the garage.” Her neighbor doesn’t accept this answer, insisting “[she] got about three calls saying you had cranked it up in front.” She assures that they’ve only started the motorcycle twice since moving there and explains, “It’s not illegal for people to have motorcycles.” She’s then told to “look in the city ordinance about noise.” The woman assures, “I make sure I follow the law.” However, her neighbor repeats, “All I want you to do is respect me, and I’ll respect you.”
Arizona Woman Accused Of Being Controlling
The woman points out, “I’ve been trying to be nice since we moved in, but I feel it’s completely backfiring at me.” To this, the neighbor takes her tirade to another level, “Let me be honest with you, neighbors think you’ve got control on the block, and that’s not right.” She cites an incident where “it [was] all jammed up around here” due to big vans and cars. The Arizona woman explains, “That was one day because I was moving in.” There is also an issue over whether or not the woman was a single mother or had a husband, to which the neighbor was told that it is not her business. Many in the comments applaud her for her restraint, with one reading, “I’m too mean for this interaction.” Another agrees, “You entertained her far too long.”
The Arizona woman claims, “I don’t even want to leave my house because of you.” Her neighbor takes this a step further by asking, “What do you think I’m going to do? Beat you up or something?” The woman responds, “I have no idea what you’re going to do. You scare me.” However, she twists those words, saying, “That’s how I feel about you.” The neighbor then suggests, “Let’s respect each other and not cause each other to be frightening.” Her next move is an attempt to make the woman’s dog, whom she previously found “sweet,” out to be scary.
Several social media users on TikTok have pointed out that the woman is a psychologist; therefore, “she is the most dangerous type bc she is realizing she can’t control you.” Another points out “that’s why the house was for sale” to begin with. Another agrees, “This is like the beginning of a Netflix psychological thriller.” One comment suggests the neighbor might be showing signs of dementia “with irritability and aggression.” One simply says, “Boomer fatigue is so real!” However, everyone has taken the Arizona woman’s side, wishing her luck and even saying, “I agree with your mother.”
