A New York TikToker has found recent popularity for her videos making fun of influencers, listing things they do that drive her insane. People cannot get enough, urging her to create more videos. Each one features four pet peeves that are common influencer behaviors. These range from eating while on camera to being obsessed with everything.

The first video serves as a cheeky way to call influencers out for “being too much.” However, the New York influencer never expected people to respond the way they have. The video also calls out the unnecessary tapping on objects. Everyone knows the pet peeves that she’s referring to. She also lists the vocal tone all influencers seem to possess and the gross habit of eating on camera. In the third, she calls out what she would scroll “on principle alone.” This is dedicating videos to specific people and telling everyone else to scroll.

The fifth video features what “annoys the [expletive] out of her.” This is when influencers seem to be obsessed with the most mundane everyday items. The New York woman explains, “You cannot be obsessed with everything!” Next, they feel the need to tell viewers to ignore their messy hair because there was no time to fix it beforehand. As she puts it, “there’s no such thing as a content emergency.”

Another pet peeve is when influencers claim that “everyone has been asking.” They have not. Another is when they take forever to reveal something, as the New York woman says, “you’re not building anticipation, you’re just making people more annoyed.” The next is the gross and annoying habit of smacking, something she wishes wouldn’t be part of TikTok at all. She also calls out both the safety and the horrible quality of filming while driving.

People Lose It Over New York TikToker’s Videos

People are losing it over how honest and true everything she calls out is. These so-called traits seem to be requirements to be an influencer and have pushed people to a certain level of petty annoyance. So the New York TikToker saying what everyone else is thinking feels liberating. As one commenter puts it, “I’m beyond over the influencer era bs.”

The videos have left people emotional, such as one that reads, “I have found my people.” Another agrees, “You’ve nailed ALL of my annoyances with this app.” Another gets frustrated to be ordered around, “I’m in the middle of doom scrolling and don’t tell me what to do!” One suggests another annoyance, “How about everything being ‘iconic’?” One commenter has clearly had enough: “The finger taps enrage me, immediately scroll.”

People beg for more videos to the point that they’re requesting to be tagged whenever she posts. One comment reads, “Your videos, I’m obsessed!” Another is relieved to not be late for the newest one, while another “feel[s] so validated because of your videos! Please, for the love of everything, keep ‘em coming!” Another is loving that the New York TikToker is sharing their annoyances, “She quoted me. I feel like I do when my celebrity crush “likes” my post.” Everyone is cheering her on, “You’re amazing, keep it up.” Let’s hope she does.
