Ray Asian Boy, aka Chen-Ruei Hsu from Taiwan, has found much fame and success in the US thanks to Kai Cenat’s help. Now, however, it appears the Taiwanese influencer, who resides in the state of Georgia, is facing fears of deportation because his US visa is about to expire. Another influencer has even started making some humorous threats against Ray, suspecting that the visa has expired long ago and that Ray is “on thin ice.”
Ray revealed that the visa had indeed expired and that he now has to go back to Taiwan in a recent stream on March 19. According to the influencer, “This is the 3rd year I stayed in the state… I need to figure some [expletive] out.” It’s not clear what steps the influencer took to renew his visa, however.
Earlier in March, Ray addressed an influencer drama between himself and Adin Ross since the Taiwan-born influencer has an ongoing tension with Ross’ friend, N3on. Ray stated that Ross has a “Jewish lawyer, I can’t [expletive] with you,” to which Ross replied “At least you know, because we would have had some big problems. I don’t think that visa you have is real… You’re on thin ice buddy, you’re on thin ice.”
For the record, Ross hasn’t directly stated that the ice he was referring to could be the Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency (ICE), though many viewers assumed it was, leading to queries such as, “He wants to get him deported?” and “At this point Adinross is a cop.” Of course, it’s not the first time Ray has been threatened with legal action; in the past, his viewers even called out his driving while using the phone.
People Online are Questioning Ray
It’s also not clear whether Kai Cenat has plans to help Ray stay longer in the US, though certain critics online have raised their eyebrows at the Taiwanese-born streamer’s negligence regarding his status in the US. One commenter even recalled, “Bro has had to go back to Taiwan every single yr for the past 3 yrs.”
Another wanted further clarification from Ray, “Has he been trying for 3 years to renew his visa? or just ignoring that until it expires?” while some have suggested desperate alternatives, “No worry he can get asylum seeker visa as a last resort.” In any case, others have suggested an immigration lawyer for Ray in case the worst-case scenario does happen to him, with commenters pointing out how, “Ice gonna kick him out,” if he doesn’t remedy his predicament and just keeps farming it for views.
