Kick streamer Clavicular is drawing attention online after saying he plans to pursue legal action against a woman who slapped him during a party in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

The incident, which took place on March 19, has circulated widely across social media, with clips of both the confrontation and Clavicular’s response generating strong reactions.

In the short clip, Clavicular says he plans to pursue legal action against the woman, explaining that he wants to  “set an example that you can’t just slap someone without facing consequences.”

Videos of the original incident are widely available online, showing what happened at the nightclub. In the footage, Clavicular can be seen speaking with a young woman who appears visibly irritated, after he said that “women don’t deserve rights.”

They argue for a while, and the conversation reaches a turning point when she asks if she can slap him. Clavicular tells her to “go ahead,” and she does. However, the Kick streamer soon calls security, and the guards escort her away from the party.

Clavicular Criticized After Going After Girl Who Slapped Him

While the first video had already gained traction online, Clavicular’s statement about suing the woman has sparked even more controversy, as viewers are divided over whether he is justified in seeking damages.

Clavicular was heavily criticized for both his behavior when at the party, as well as for promising a lawsuit. “This dude is such a crybaby,” one social media user said, while others stated that the “case is going nowhere.  And no lawyer worth their salt would take it.”

Others pointed out that the woman asked if she could slap him and that he agreed, arguing that he is only suing her because “his ego is destroyed.” Some were even outraged that he would pursue legal action over what they considered a petty reason, with one person saying, “Nobody likes people who file frivolous lawsuits (lawfare) to bully others.”

However, some social media users supported Clavicular amid the backlash. One person said, “It’s about time some of these men press charges against women who attack them. (…) Let these women face accountability for their actions.”

It remains to be seen whether the lawsuit will materialize, but Clavicular appears determined to move forward despite the controversy surrounding his actions.
