Thank you, fellow Greymanes

Crimson Desert Community Tips and Tricks

Back when we started reviewing the game, Pearl Abyss’s PR recommended that we build a community around this single-player game to solve puzzles, share findings, and more. At times, many of us didn’t understand it, but once the game launched, we saw just how many things the dedicated Crimson Desert community began to find, which we reviewers never discovered during our time in Pywel. For that reason, we’ve decided to do a quick showcase of some of the wildest finds and tricks that the Crimson Desert community has for all of us, even after 90 hours spent grinding the game.

Brawling Is the Best Way to Farm Money

You Can go HERE In Crimson Desert and Fight For UNLIMITED MONEY

This one comes from X user Miss, who you’ll see mentioned more than once in this post. According to them, the best way to farm money in Crimson Desert is by joining the Goldenfist Arena and reaching a three-win streak. Each subsequent win after that one gives you 70 copper, making it the fastest, easiest, and most legal way to get money early in the game.

NPCs Will Steal Your Things

⚠️CUIDADO!

Credits go to MegaMax and Ninjago, who discovered that NPCs will actually steal the things you drop if there are any NPCs around, that is. This isn’t the first time we’ve seen this system implemented in an open-world game. However, it is hilarious to see the whole town of Hernand gather around Kliff to gather everything he dropped on the ground. If you’re doing this, make sure to only drop things you don’t use, though.

You Can Find Hidden Walls With Your Lantern

Besides blinding NPCs, it seems the lantern has another trick up its sleeve, and something that many Crimson Desert players overlooked. According to MegaMax and GermanStrands, your lantern will also show the location of hidden walls. You can see how there’s the Force Palm icon on one of them, showing that you can enter it with said skill. Sadly, these walls seem to be available only to Kliff, at least for now.

A Weapon That Sends Enemies Flying

The base combat of Crimson Desert is already great, but here’s a trick coming from Ninjago and Khraze: you can use the Eastern Witch’s Fan to conjure a tornado and send enemies flying. This is particularly useful if you’re facing several enemies at the same time. Finding it will take a while, as it seems to be in the easternmost part of the map, but once you get it, you’ll be sending enemies flying left and right.

You Can Craft Palmer Pills Early in the Game

Did you know in Crimson Desert, you ride past one of the best blueprints right at the start of the game?

— Blaine Smith (@GHBSmith) March 21, 2026

During the first hours of Crimson Desert, chances are we all froze to watch the sunset, RKO some enemies, and try to befriend a few cats around the town. While doing so, we might have missed one of the best crafting recipes in the whole game. User Blaine Smith shared a clip showing the location of the Palmer Pill recipe, which is close to the first bridge we all see during the opening hours. Guess we’ll think twice now before getting distracted by a gorgeous landscape next time.

Character Swapping Can Be Instant

Character Switching in Crimson Desert when Kliff and Damiane are nearby is so seamless and instantaneous, you don't even have to go through a loading screen.

It reminds me of those early GTA 6 leaks where a dev would switch instantly between Lucia and Jason.

Huge props to Pearl… pic.twitter.com/hr7wfJ1v0Z

— NikTek (@NikTek) March 23, 2026

Character swapping is always a huge thing in open-world games, and it seems Pearl Abyss nailed some of its transitions. User NikTek discovered that swapping characters who are close to one another happens instantly, as you can see in the above clip. This seems to occur only when both characters are nearby. If they are far, however, the scene will change and take longer, but it’s still a neat detail we didn’t know of.

Elemental Attacks Have Different Damage Effects

Elements in Crimson Desert are a Game Changer pic.twitter.com/AA1MU6rbQ5

— James – JGOD (@JGODYT) March 20, 2026

This might be a bit obvious to some, but some can also look past certain details, especially during the heat of battle. User James – JGOD shared a clip as Kliff attacked elephants with different elemental attacks. It seems that every element triggers different effects on enemies, such as fire charring their bodies and ice shattering them into pieces. This is yet another instance of Pearl Abyss having a top-notch attention to detail.

Wrestling Moves Can Take Out Watch Towers Quickly

— Tesdey (@Tesdey) March 23, 2026

How many of us were spending our arrows to take down that one pesky archer atop a watch tower? Well, user Tesdey just showed us that the easiest way to take these enemies down, along the structure they use to shoot at us, is by performing a wrestling move. A lariat seems to do the trick, though, making it truly one of the best moves in Crimson Desert. Oh, we also tried this at the bottom of the tower, and it worked, meaning that you don’t have to be at the top to channel your inner WWE wrestler self to destroy these structures.

There’s a Cloak That Lets You Farm Animal Materials

Reindeer Cloak In Crimson Desert Is SOO GOOD for farming food

any deer or elk or anything that looks like one wont notice you pic.twitter.com/oQo6edZPcv

— miss (@mislead) March 25, 2026

And we’re back with another finding from user Miss/Mislead, who shared a clip of them using the Reindeer Cloak to blend in around animals and then let you kill them quickly for pelts, crafting materials, and most importantly, meat. You can browse the comments of the above post, as Miss also shares the location of said cloak, which doesn’t seem too hard to get. This might not seem useful at first, but wait until you run out of cooking ingredients; this cloak will be your savior.

You Can Deafen Enemies With a Shield Attack

— miss (@mislead) March 24, 2026

And to wrap our list up, we have yet another post from prominent Crimson Desert guider and trick-sharer, Miss/Mislead. Apparently, besides hiding some of the most beautiful NPCs in the game, the circus also houses the Shield of Ringing, which allows you to deafen enemies by pressing RB+RT after guarding three times. This is an excellent skill, as it stuns foes and is extremely helpful when fighting several foes at once. Frankly, we wish we had discovered this before clearing the quarry.

The truth is, this is just a tiny glimpse of the many discoveries and tricks the Crimson Desert community has found, and we’ll likely see many more in the coming days. Some of these dedicated players are still roaming the first area and uncovering many secrets, which is wild, to say the least. In the end, we should all continue doing our part to share our findings, but for now, we thank these users for showing us some fun, slick mechanics we didn’t know about.
