A judge in Texas is facing backlash after being filmed mistreating an Information Technology worker.
According to the circulating video, the judge was having an issue with the audio on his device. The IT worker came to help fix the problem, but the judge did not respond well to what he was being told.
After checking the issue, the IT worker fixed it in a few seconds. It seemed the judge had missed a step that should have been done. Since there was no serious issue, the IT worker said, “false alarm.” The judge responded angrily, “It wasn’t a false alarm.” The employee then joked, saying, “false negative,” while laughing. The judge replied, “Don’t joke around. I’m serious about this. It was happening.”
As the IT worker tried to explain himself, the judge interrupted and told him to leave the courtroom. After he left, the judge instructed someone in the court to find the IT worker’s supervisor, prompting speculation online that he might be trying to get him fired. The judge then exclaimed, “Jesus Christ. I’m sick and tired of this [expletive] today.”
The clip sparked a conversation about how some people in positions of power, like the judge, mistreat others simply because of their status. Many criticized the judge for how he treated the IT worker, believing it was completely unnecessary. As a result, numerous people directed insults at the judge.

The video sparked reactions online. Many people were upset by the Texas judge’s behavior, which led them to share his name online. One person wrote, “Judge Nathan J. Milliron, republican douchebag who, as per usual, can’t [expletive] behave himself.” Another responded, “Nathan J. Milliron* … his YouTube content is basically him verbally assaulting everyone in the same Poindexter energy. The first one I watched he sanctions an attorney $5000 and says ‘get out of my courtroom’ like it’s apparently his catchphrase. One of the most insufferable judges I’ve ever seen.”
More people criticized the judge. One person wrote, “Wow, what a [expletive] loser. Imagine how he takes his bad day out on the public if this is how he treats his peers.” Another added, “Oh no… allow me to clarify this, having been in this situation a time or two. The Judge – absolutely – does not see the IT guy as a peer. We are but common laborers to be guided by barking orders at us like dogs. How dare that IT guy address the judge like that while he was on the bench, and all the while dressed like such a peasant…”
The judge’s treatment of the IT worker was widely seen as obnoxious. Many felt that people should show respect to those around them, regardless of their position.
