To close out Ubisoft’s E3 conference, the company showed off the latest installment of the Assassin’s Creed franchise, Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. You can see the cinematic trailer for it below:

If you were hoping to see more, don’t worry, here is a quick gameplay demo:

It seems that all of those leaks and rumors over the past few weeks were correct. For the first time ever in the Assassin’s Creed franchise, you will be able to make dialogue choices and impact the history of your narrative. You will also be able to choose your protagonist, Alexios or Kassandra. This is not like Assassin’s Creed Syndicate, where you switched between sibling protagonists Evie and Jacob Frye. You choose your protagonist at the start of the game and that’s it.

Odyssey grows on where Assassin’s Creed Origins left on in terms of RPG elements. Just like Origins, you will be able to find, buy, and upgrade your weapons and armor.

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey will be available October 5th, 2018 for Xbox One, PS4, and Windows PC. You can play the game starting October 2nd but you would have to purchase either the Physical Gold Edition ($100 – comes with the season pass for Odyssey) or the Ultimate Edition ($120 – XP boosts, extra gear packs, naval pack, and the season pass).
