A Utah single mom received crazy letters from her neighbor, which she read in a TikTok video. People are commenting that she should report him to the cops and the apartment complex’s manager. The Utah woman, a single mom with two children, has recently moved into a new apartment building. She first encountered the male neighbor while carrying items into her apartment. He offered to help her, and she told him no. Over the next couple of weeks, he attempted to make contact with her by leaving letters. The video has received over 50,000 views and thousands of likes.

anyone that has to reassure you that they will keep you safe… is definitely not going to keep you safe 😂

Two weeks after the initial meeting, he brought her dinner and called her a great neighbor. In the video, she says, “I haven’t done [expletive]” for him. The other night, she saw her neighbor at her door, where he was “so drunk, trying to leave a letter.” This letter called her children “adorable,” specifically referring to her daughter, whom he said was “just like her.” In it, he also described the Utah mom as “super adorable.”

The second letter she read was found on her car that morning. In it, he offered to make her and her children dinner. The letter said, “It’s just that I like all of you very much.” It continued with him not wanting her to take his gesture the wrong way, and how he wished to spend time with them. In it, he said, “I am very lonely and am trying to find some warmth and happiness somewhere.” The letter also mentioned how he had never been married, and made her an offer: “I can promise you a delicious beans and weenies dinner.” The Utah woman read the letter to the end, where the neighbor assured her, “I think you know me well enough to know that you’ll be safe and taken care of.” She explains at the end of the video that the sheriff’s department called him that morning.

People Tell Utah Woman To Report Neighbor

Many in the comments are concerned with her safety and advise her to report him. One says, “Call the police, that’s insane.” The Utah woman claims she has already done this twice. Another says, “Please report this to the apartment management too.” Another advises her, “definitely do not let your children be outside without you ever.” One commenter has chills from the letters, stating, “This 100% has Dateline vibes.” Another agrees, specifically worried about how the neighbor brought up the children. They say, “The first line of the letter being about your kids is a [EXPLETIVE] NO.” A few commenters want her to keep them informed: “Keep us updated, please.”

According to a comment, the Utah woman plans to move next month.
