A woman in California recently took to TikTok to show the devastating state her home was left in after it was allegedly raided by the FBI and DHS in an intimidation act. The woman recounted that agents from the FBI and DHS burst through her door at around 3 a.m. on May 13, an incident she said traumatized her children, who had been asleep before authorities forced their way inside. As she filmed the aftermath, she panned her camera across several parts of the house, including the bedroom and kitchen.
The home appeared completely ransacked, with broken doors, shattered locks, and pieces of wood scattered across the floor as though the entire place had been torn apart during the operation. She also showed a reddish mark on part of her skin that appeared to have been caused by some form of physical contact or injury. Throughout the video, the damaged doors and destroyed locks served as visual evidence supporting her claims that the home had been raided.
In another report shared on X, the woman was identified as Alexi, a well-known community volunteer affiliated with VC Defensa, who was reportedly said to have faced repeated harassment from federal agents in the past. According to the report, the Department of Homeland Security enlisted the support of the FBI in carrying out the operation at her home, which supporters described as an intimidation tactic.
As reported by VC Star, attorney Reem Yasmin condemned the raid, stating, “This is completely unconstitutional, clearly an intimidation tactic being used against people who are exercising their right to organize and protect their community.” In an email reportedly received by The Star, the Department of Homeland Security confirmed that on May 13, the agency executed several search warrants targeting individuals allegedly associated with an anti-ICE organization and seized multiple items during the operation. The statement also claimed that some members of the organization had previously been arrested for ambushing federal law enforcement officers and damaging government property.
Despite this, the organization stated that it intends to pursue legal action, emphasizing that Alexi was not the only volunteer whose home had been raided.
Netizens Directed Their Anger Toward The Government
The incident quickly sparked outrage online, with many social media users describing the raid as excessive and intimidating. “This is straight terrorism against American citizens. They come in a veteran’s door at that time, not going to go well. The empire is in full effect. Those poor kids…. 😡 Fascist stormtroopers,” one user wrote while expressing sympathy for the family.
Others continued accusing the government of using fear tactics and urged the woman to seek legal representation. “This is what Trump’s thugs do to you if you speak up. They scare your kids, manhandle you, and destroy your house to intimidate you. They don’t realize that this will rile up more people than it will scare,” another commenter claimed, arguing that the raid was meant to silence dissent.
The anger online continued to grow as more users accused the government of oppressive behavior and insisted that citizens should stand against such actions. “Assault with a deadly agency!” one user sharply remarked.
The raid in California just further fuels conversations about government accountability and the limits of law enforcement power. It is unfortunate that the woman and her children felt terrorized.
