Co-op games have been returning in full force, with many now offering new experiences that tend to bring players in droves. While we’ve had many new ones that have offered us several hours of fun, there is a new one coming that combines two genres that some of you might not expect: cooking and horror. And yes, we’re talking about Happy’s Humble Burgatory, the successor to Happy’s Humble Burger Farm, which brings new mechanics, a heart-racing loop of meeting your quota and escaping with your hard-earned cash, and all of that wrapped in chaotic co-op action with some horror sprinkled on top of it.
Happy’s Humble Burgatory Launches on July 26

Happy’s Humble Burgatory is coming to Steam on July 16. Many of you might remember its predecessor, which introduced a new type of gameplay loop to co-op games by adding horror elements to a cooking experience. Basically, imagine working for a fast food chain where one mistake turns the establishment into a Silent Hill level of sorts.
Well, this successor is raising the bar by introducing over 35 modifiers, time-sensitive orders with danger behind them if you fail them, and, for fans of the Scythe universe, even more details for them to follow.
Now, you don’t have to do this alone, as the game will support 4-player co-op at launch, meaning that the game might feel a little bit less scary, but with the same expected mayhem. You can still play through all of this alone, but why do a shift on your own when you can make others suffer alongside you?
And to celebrate this monumental reveal, tinyBuild has announced that the first title, Happy’s Humble Burger Farm, will be free on Steam for a whole week. This is excellent, as it will allow players to experience some of what this series has established in the co-op horror genre and give them a taste (no pun intended) of what they will find in this terrifying fast-food joint.
So, remember to mark your calendars because Happy’s Humble Burgatory is arriving in almost a month. And, if you want to start training some potential victims, sorry, employees, make sure to download Happy’s Humble Burger Farm, as there’s nothing better than some hands-on experience when it comes to serving supernatural customers. Or at least that’s what those at Barnyarn Buds say.
