The time has come, Travelers. Our journey in Nod-Krai and in the Luna versions is about to end, but not without going into one final adventure with one of the most anticipated playable characters in the game. Genshin Impact Version Luna VIII is launching soon, and it will bring the long-awaited release of Sandrone as a new party member. On top of that, we’re taking a trip to the moon, which is a new explorable area for all Travelers.
Genshin Impact Version Luna VIII Launches on July 1
Today we had the Special Program of Version Luna VIII coming to Genshin Impact on July 1, and we got several news, with one of the biggest being Sandrona becoming a playable character.
This iconic Harbinger is a 5-Star Cryo Claymore user who also brings the new Stellar-Conduct reaction. This new reaction will create a field that will buff Cryo and Electro users, meaning that there are several potential team options for Sandrone as she will be an excellent support/sub-DPS unit.
In terms of reruns, we will have Citlali joining Sandrone during the first half, and Columbina and Raiden Shogun taking the spotlight for the second phase. All of these characters seem to be excellent alongside Sandrone, so if you skipped any of them, now’s the time to get them.
For playable content, Travelers will finally set foot on the moon. This will be a new explorable area with breathtaking vistas and some challenges apt for this new area. And of course, there are events coming, with players going back to Fontaine for the Fontinalia Film Festival. They will be alongside Charlotte, Citlatli, and other beloved characters to shoot something with Columbina. I think we already know who might be directing this time, and if so, we’ll be happy to see her again.
The First Teaser For Snezhnaya Is Out
The next big piece of news was the first teaser of Snezhnaya, which we were not expecting. While short, we already saw a new enemy, parts of what seems to be the new map, and even a brand-new third-person gameplay where the Traveler goes around shooting enemies with style. And we also saw Paimon in a concerning state, which has many of us fans worried already.
Fortunately, the wait won’t be that long, as HoYoverse has confirmed that our trip to Snezhnaya will begin on August 12, meaning that we have more than a month to wrap up everything in Nod-Krai before we depart for this long-awaited region.
