A Texas woman has gone viral after accusing The Londoner Pub & Grill in Addison of racial discrimination, claiming she was denied entry while other customers were allowed inside. She alleges that white patrons were admitted without issue while she was repeatedly turned away, prompting her to share her experience on TikTok. The video has since drawn millions of views and sparked widespread discussion online.
The story was posted by TikTok creator @1krenee, whose video has received more than one million views, hundreds of thousands of likes, and thousands of comments. Many viewers expressed support for her account, while others asked whether she had additional footage of the encounter.
In the video, the Texas woman says she visited the pub to watch a soccer match but was stopped at the entrance by a bouncer. According to her, the bouncer told her the manager had said the venue was already at capacity. She says she initially accepted the explanation and walked away, but became suspicious after seeing other customers leave the pub while new patrons continued to enter.
She claims the situation became even more confusing when she saw another man enter without any issues. After she questioned why she still could not go inside, she says the bouncer told her she would need to pay a $5 entry fee. However, she alleges that the man who had just entered was not asked to pay. She also claims she later watched a white couple walk into the pub without being charged the same fee, leading her to believe she had been treated differently because of her race.
The Texas woman does not present evidence in the video confirming why she was denied entry, and the pub’s explanation is limited to what she says the bouncer told her. At the time of the video, The Londoner Pub & Grill had not publicly responded to the allegations. As with any claim of discrimination, the allegations remain unverified based on the information presented in the video alone.
Texas Woman’s Allegations Gain Online Support
The video’s comment section was largely supportive of the Texas woman, with many viewers saying they believed she had been treated unfairly. Several users asked whether she had recorded the incident using her Meta smart glasses, saying additional footage could provide more context about what happened.
Many commenters also said they no longer planned to visit the pub after hearing her account. Others thanked her for sharing the experience, saying it had influenced their opinion of the business and served as a warning to potential customers.
A significant number of users encouraged others to leave negative reviews on Google and Yelp. Some said they had already done so, while others discussed whether one-star or two-star reviews would be more effective. Several also suggested including written comments alongside the ratings.
Some commenters went a step further by encouraging the Texas woman to take legal action. “You can sue them, especially if you have a video of the situation,” one user wrote. Others advised her to preserve any evidence that could support her claims if she chose to pursue the matter.
Sometimes a night out to watch soccer ends with a final score no one expected, especially when the biggest controversy happens before anyone even gets through the front door.
