Another portion of the surveillance footage showed the women entering an office area inside the restaurant, where they were also captured on camera. According to the claims shared alongside the video, the alleged theft took place there. Some social media accounts also alleged that the group caused significant damage to the restaurant, though those claims have not been independently verified.

According to ABC 7, police are working to identify the women shown in the surveillance footage. The Metropolitan Police Department said the alleged break-in occurred at a Chick-fil-A restaurant in the 3100 block of 14th Street NW. Investigators are asking anyone who recognizes the women or has information about the incident to contact police.

While police classified the incident as a burglary, they have not disclosed what was stolen from the restaurant or how the group allegedly gained entry. As of now, there have been no public updates regarding the identities of the women or whether any arrests have been made.

The video sparked reactions online. Many viewers criticized the Washington DC women for breaking into a Chick-fil-A restaurant. Several commenters called for those responsible to be identified, arrested, and held accountable. “If you participate in anything like this you should be in a hard labor camps for 5 years minimum. Make the punishment so harsh the thought of being a [slur] in a takeover scares you,” one person wrote.

Another agreed, saying, “I agree and hard labor in a strict, no nonsense prison environment is something this country should have. A few years busting rocks or cleaning highways and roadsides in the hot sun, would make you think twice about doing crimes.”
