An Oklahoma content creator went on the offensive by responding to Caleb Hammer, host of Financial Audit. She called him a “hateful little freak” after clipping a portion of his podcast show wherein he mocked a mother stressing out over being denied financial support for her autistic child.
TikTok user Kendall (TikTok/Kendallybrown) shared the conversation on her TikTok channel, which included Caleb Hammer and Brandon Cavazos, another member of Financial Audit. They’re watching a TikTok video of a mother sharing her frustration that she, a mother of a non-verbal “level 3 autistic child,” was denied disability (SSI) because she and her husband “make too much money.” Caleb responded to this by saying, “Good!” He goes on to say, “We shouldn’t be providing benefits to those who don’t need it.”
On top of his initial comments, he said it’s “Karen entitlement” for this woman to believe that her child should receive disability benefits. A child, mind you, who desperately needs those services like so many others in America.
Kendall immediately rips into Caleb, saying, “It takes a special combination of stupidity, cruelty and cowardice to go onto your massive platform… to mock the mother of a disabled child who is struggling to afford her son’s medical and educational needs…”
She continues, saying that as a disability advocate, she’s going to inform Caleb and his audience about the struggles people like this mother face. Kendall then takes time to explain how SSI works and how you need to be “extremely” poor to be a part of that program. Both parents working then would likely disqualify them. People who do quality can’t make over “poverty wages” or else they’re denied.
Entirely out of touch, Kendall shows how Caleb tried to rip apart the Oklahoma mother in front of his audience and got it entirely wrong. He asks about the mother, “What is she insinuating? That the money would have fixed his potty training?” Caleb continues to make judgmental comments about the mother, eventually saying that the child will soon “enter either private education or some charter education.” He said these types of education “hopefully” have what the child needs. But if not, what then?

Among the hundreds of comments on Kendall’s TikTok video, there was no shortage of disgust and hatred for Caleb. They too agreed with Kendall, calling out Caleb for mocking the mother and criticizing him for misunderstanding her situation.
Apparently this isn’t the first time Caleb has crowed about someone receiving disability benefits. “He also complains EVERY SINGLE TIME he works with a Veteran who is receiving VA disability benefits. Every. Time. 🤬,” one commenter familiar with Caleb’s podcast wrote.
Another commenter argued Caleb was too ignorant. “‘Too much money’ doesn’t equal ‘enough money’ to properly take care of a disabled child,” a viewer said. One TikTok user highlighted how finicky applying and keeping disability is. “You can make $5 over that limit and get denied access to assistance.”
Other comments attributed Caleb to the far-right pipeline and of being MAGA. Many cheered on the hatred for him, arguing that he deserves it. “The fall of Caleb has been fun to watch,” said a viewer.
Given the response in Kendall’s TikTok video, it’s clear people either dislike Caleb or think he should stick to giving financial advice, rather than dunking on a mother struggling to pay her autistic child’s healthcare.
