A Maryland creator captured a heated exchange between a young boy and a Black store employee after the child was kicked out. During the argument, the boy repeatedly used the N-word and traded insults with the worker. However, the comments became less about the confrontation itself and more about the child behind it.
TikTok user @myamya3000 recorded the encounter as the boy argued with the employee outside the store. The clip begins with the child already upset and using profanity, including the N-word. The Maryland creator quickly intervenes, telling the boy to watch his mouth. Meanwhile, the employee responds to the child and advises him to leave.
After the employee refers to the boy as white, the child questions why his own language is considered offensive. “All right, but if I call you Black that’s wrong, though, right?” he asks. The creator then explains the distinction. “Black ain’t wrong, [the N-word] is wrong,” she tells him.
Eventually, the creator shifts from correcting the boy to asking what happened inside the store. He says he had gone inside before being kicked out. “I’m trying to buy some toothpaste for my sister,” the boy says before the clip ends.
Viewers Are Torn Between Laughter, Concern, and Outrage
The Maryland boy’s thick Baltimore accent caught plenty of attention. Some commenters found the interaction funny despite the circumstances. “He get the pass. bro is straight up gangsta and is surviving them streets,” one user wrote. Another admitted, “I kinda like him.”
Still, the boy’s repeated use of the N-word sparked a more serious discussion. Some commenters argued his language appeared influenced by his surroundings rather than racial hostility. “Personally i wouldn’t call him racist i’ll just say it’s the environment, however he still shouldn’t be saying that word,” one person wrote.
For some, however, the toothpaste changed the tone of the video entirely. Rather than laughing, they wondered why a child appeared so concerned with buying an everyday necessity for his sister. “He just need a lil lecture, the toothpaste, a few snacks,” one commenter wrote. The user also questioned why buying toothpaste was something the child had to worry about.
