An Alabama woman stages a rescue of a mother dog and her six puppies after they were dumped on her dirt road. The sweet family has caught attention online, with her TikTok video having over 3 million views, over 579,000 likes, and over 11,000 comments.
In the video, you can see the dogs sitting in the middle of the road as the woman carefully approaches. She calls to them, “Can I see you and your babies? I won’t hurt you.” The mother is “skin and bones” and is terrified. However, she approaches cautiously with a tail wag and her head down. The woman’s first concern: “We gotta get you off the road.” First, she attempts to lure the dogs to a safer spot. Then, she focuses on getting them food. But she can’t help wondering, “Why do people keep doing this?”
However, she’s “pretty sure [she] has footage of who did this.” The Alabama woman remembers seeing “a red little truck” that had a “huge black cage on the back” drive up not long before finding the dogs. Just a few minutes after seeing the truck, she heard “someone hightailing it down the road.”
The woman states that the actions make her want to “do something terrible,” such as blocking off the dirt road. Until she gets them off the road, she moves a child’s play equipment into the center to prevent someone from driving by. After being fed, it doesn’t take much for her to win over the puppies and their mother. Thankfully, she was able to carry all six with the mother following down to her house before a storm hit. This is where they stayed before being moved to a rescue.

That’s so heartbreaking.” One simply adds, “I hate humans.” Another says, “There’s a special place in [expletive] for the people who abandon dogs and puppies like that.” Regardless, everyone is relieved to see the animals rescued and now safe.
She contacted a notable dog rescue, The Dog Daddy, which came and picked them up. An update video of the dogs has been posted, showing them bathed, fed, and wormed.
