A man in Seffner, Florida, saw that a poorly wrapped soda pallet was about to fall to the ground and cause a major spill. He decided to record the incident and post it online, resulting in a very viral video. He didn’t know that the clip was about to seal his ticket to unemployment, though.
Antonio Greene was the one who recorded the incident while at the Coca-Cola warehouse. His online presence is limited to the spillage in question and its repercussions. Still, the clip attached above, the first content he ever posted, went viral. It garnered 5.3 million views, 848,500 likes, and more than 8,700 comments.
The Florida man’s video started right in the middle of the soon-to-be disaster. A forklift, operated by another employee, had elevated a pallet of Coca-Cola plastic bottles up to the very top of the warehouse storage racks.
Antonio, while behind the phone, knew exactly what was going to happen. The Coca-Cola pallet was about to go down, as made evident by the angle of the bottles. In what was interpreted as very cartoonish nervous laughter, Antonio urged his coworker to “go in.”
Multiple “go-ins” later, the wooden pallet itself broke, and the bottles rained down to the ground. Before they exploded, the Florida man, defeated, said, “Oh my [expletive] god.”
Spill Leads To Firing
Soda was spilled all over the place. Antonio continued to laugh nervously as he backed away due to the soda blast. Meanwhile, the coworker, still seated in the forklift, was still looking upward.
In just a few days, Antonio’s clip went viral, as stated above. However, his employer didn’t find the video funny at all. Given that recording is strictly prohibited, let alone uploading the footage for millions of viewers to see, Coca-Cola immediately fired Antonio, he said.
According to a GoFundMe, he had worked at the warehouse for about two years. He wrote, “Who knew a phone video of a couple seconds and views could lead to unemployment?“

Antonio’s clip and subsequent firing sparked multiple responses online. Some found the footage hilarious and decided to join in the fun. One said, “Do you guys get to drink the soda after?” Another one commented, “Straight to a urine test.”
Others found Antonio’s firing upsetting and unfair. One wrote, “Sue for wrongful termination.” Another one added, “Get yourself an attorney or file for unemployment.”
In a follow-up clip, Antonio revealed that he was working at DoorDash and that he was going to make the best out of his situation.
