A California car detailer was washing a vehicle and had been minding his own business. Lo and behold, his peaceful workday was disrupted by a miserable neighbor. The woman confronted him and insisted he wasn’t allowed to do that.
TikTok user DoubleGAutomotive, DGA, had recorded the unfortunate visit and posted it to his TikTok profile. He had been washing a customer’s vehicle on a public road, where he typically does. In his video, DGA points to the neighbor and says he found his “first Karen.”
As he records her, the woman yells from her driveway, “That’s right! Washing your car in a public street is not something you can do here!” The woman immediately starts in on the name-calling, cursing at him as he continues washing the vehicle.
He asks her what he did wrong. She then stands against her house, screaming, “Go back to Mexico!” The elderly neighbor motions to a note in her hand, stating she has the “proof” she needs. For what, she does not say. DGA ignores her and finishes his job anyway.
Viewers didn’t hold back on condemning DGA’s rude visitor
Despite the lady’s age, the comment section of DGA’s TikTok video was full of sarcastic comments pointing fun. With thousands of Likes on TikTok, a viewer wrote, “She jumped out of the grave to confront you!”
“That much hate at her age is diabolical,” another remarked. One wondered, “How do they remain?” and drew attention to the recent passing of Dolly Parton. “Dolly gone but not her????”
Others compared the older woman to various movie characters. One commenter thought she looked like a spirit from the movie Insidious. Another thought of the Wicked Witch in The Wizard of Oz, adding, “She’s just worried you might spill the bucket of water on her.” They posted an image of the Wicked Witch melting for good measure.
DGA has not stated on TikTok if the older woman filed a complaint or report. That said, it isn’t surprising that someone being nosey (and wrong) would get so much hate online, especially when she resorted to racism.
