A mother in Memphis, Tennessee, was sleeping comfortably, believing everyone at home was doing the same. That was not the case, as her son managed to sneak a girl into the house. His attempt at concealment was unsuccessful, and things ended with a proper kick-out just hours later.
TikToker Pretty Indy, the mother, shared the doorbell camera footage online. She has shared multiple types of content online, including selfies, vlogs, and trends. The clip attached above quickly became her most-watched one ever. It garnered 348,000 views, 30,100 likes, and more than 1,200 comments.
The Tennessee woman captioned her video, “Look at what we have here,” already setting the mood for what viewers were about to see. According to Indy, her son opened the front door at approximately 12:45 a.m.
And indeed, the video showed proof. A young man, potentially still a teenager, slowly opened the front door and waved at someone to approach. In an effort to conceal his sneaking attempt, the man covered the doorbell camera with his left arm and elbow.
Sneaking Attempt Failed
For a few moments, the footage also showed the man’s hoodie pressed against the lens. However, he removed his elbow as soon as the unexpected guest, a young woman, approached the house and entered through the front door. If he was attempting to hide the woman’s identity, he arguably did a terrible job of doing exactly that.
For almost three hours, the Tennessee couple were together. However, at 3:37 a.m., as shown in a follow-up clip, three women, including the one who had just sneaked into the house, walked out of the home. It appeared that Indy and another adult woman were accompanying the girl to their car, ready to take her home.
Indy labeled this the “walk of shame.” She then detailed in the comments that she had “scared both of them straight” right before their night was over for good. It is unclear in what circumstances the mother found her son and his female friend.
Reactions
Viewers were in total disagreement with the son’s behavior, as well as the young woman’s. One said, “The fact SHE FELT COMFORTABLE SNEAKING INTO HIS MOM’S HOUSE. The disrespect.” Another one commented, “It’s time for the boy to move out, especially since he think he grown.”
Others mocked the man’s poor attempt at hiding his sneaking attempt. One wrote, “Sooo… he blocked the view of her pulling up to show her walking in the house.” Indy responded, “Slow af.” Another viewer added, “He blocked everything but what he’s supposed to block. Lord, these kids don’t do NOTHING right.”
It is unclear what repercussions Indy’s son faced right after his friend was removed from the home.
