An Oregon dog owner says she was locked inside a baseball field after another woman confronted her about bringing her leashed dog onto the property. Most commenters accused the woman of falsely imprisoning her, while a smaller group argued the field wasn’t meant for dogs in the first place.
Posted to TikTok by @ttv.saxie, the video picks up mid-confrontation, with the creator locked inside the gated field. “Unlock the door!” she says. The woman responds by cursing at her, which the creator returns before demanding again that she move and unlock the gate. The woman claims she works at the field and questions why @ttv.saxie is there at all.
After more arguing, Saxie eventually unlocks the gate herself. As she exits, she tells the woman the field isn’t her property either. Later she accuses her of being bored and looking for a confrontation.
In her caption, the Oregon creator said she felt “targeted” and “disgusted” by the encounter, and that a normal conversation could have resolved the situation without anyone feeling threatened.
TikTok Reacts
The word “kidnapping” came up repeatedly in the comments, with many viewers treating the lockout as more than just a disagreement over dogs.
“Why is that beekeeper falsely imprisoning you?” one commenter asked. Another added, “You understand that’s kidnapping what she did to you right? I hope you called the police and reported her.”
Several viewers focused on how unnecessary the entire confrontation seemed. “These people are MISERABLE. So many people take their dogs to baseball fields/tennis courts etc. to let them run around, she just wanted to pick a fight,” one wrote.
Not every commenter was fully sympathetic to the Oregon creator, though. One pointed out that she could have simply left once the gate was unlocked. “Honestly though, as soon as the gate was opened, you could’ve just gone. You stayed there arguing longer, which wasn’t necessary.”
Another sided more with the woman’s underlying complaint. “She’s right, the league and parents pay for the fields. It takes a lot to take and chalk the fields. While her delivery is wrong you are very wrong as well.”
What seemed to bother viewers most was the need to police someone else’s behavior. Some felt the creator may have been wrong to use the Oregon baseball field, but the confrontation went too far once the woman tried to prevent her from leaving.
