A Florida woman is facing backlash online after preparing a music playlist to celebrate Charlie Kirk’s death.

The woman shared a video online with the caption, “Getting my playlist of songs that remind me of Charlie ready for the kirkaversary party.” The statement was viewed by some people online as controversial and offensive because it appeared to celebrate or mock Kirk’s death.

These people are unbearable. This one takes the crown today.

She's probably someone's grandmother and mother btw.

“Kirkaversary” is an informal term that combines Charlie Kirk’s name with “anniversary.” However, some of Kirk’s critics have used the term to mock his death and mark its anniversary in a celebratory or sarcastic way. In this context, it may be used by people who express satisfaction over his death, make jokes about it, or ridicule Kirk and those who mourn him. As a result, the term can carry a particularly provocative meaning in some online discussions, where it is used less as a genuine commemoration and more as a way to mock Kirk and his supporters.

In addition to the caption, the woman’s accompanying video was also viewed as controversial. In the footage, she danced and lip-synced to a song, which some viewers interpreted as celebrating Kirk’s death on its anniversary.

As the woman continued dancing, another controversial moment appeared in the video. At one point, she made a gun gesture with her hand and pretended to “shoot” herself in the neck. This was believed to be a reference the manner of Kirk’s assassination. Following the video, some Kirk supporters doxxed the woman and shared her private information online.

Kirk’s controversial political views on issues including immigration, race, abortion, LGBTQ+ rights, and American politics made him a deeply divisive figure. He has strong supporters as well as vocal opponents. That division has influenced how some people respond to his death. This includes those who use the anniversary to mock or celebrate it rather than mourn him. However, reactions of this kind can carry consequences, particularly if they involve harassment, threats, or other prohibited conduct. Depending on the circumstances, such behavior could lead to social media penalties, professional consequences, or legal repercussions. This is especially true when it crosses into unlawful activity.

Viewers Slam Florida Woman Over Celebrating Charlie Kirk’s Death

The video sparked reactions online. Many viewers criticized the Florida woman over what they considered a disturbing and insensitive video. Some also called for her to face consequences. “Celebrating the murder of any man is evil…,” one person wrote. Another person said, “These liberal white women, the uglier and stranger they are, the fewer brain cells they have.”

More people criticized the woman over her reaction to Kirk’s death. “What an ugly disgusting witch,” one person wrote. Another person said, “Demonic! The battle we are in is truly spiritual!” Someone else added, “What the actual [expletive] is wrong with these people? Happily celebrating murder is quite psychotic behavior. Then to record yourself doing it to post on social media… utterly sociopathic.”

The controversy surrounding the woman’s video reflects the continued divide over how people respond to Charlie Kirk’s death. This is particularly true among those who strongly supported or opposed his political views. It also highlighted the disagreement over whether people who publicly mock or celebrate his death should face consequences for their actions.
