A woman in Texas was relaxing at a park when a man suddenly approached her. He began hitting on her by asking inappropriate questions. The worst of them all? He asked him about outdoor sex, right in a public space.
Xia Bloom posted the almost 4-minute interaction on TikTok. She is a model and an actress, and often plays the persona of a fairy for content and events. The clip attached above became her biggest video to date. It garnered 2.5 million views, 540,500 likes, and more than 19,600 comments in a matter of days.
The Texas woman started recording the interaction after the man began talking to her. He can be heard telling her that her hair was beautiful and asking her not to cut it. Meanwhile, she very evidently expressed her disinterest, asking the man if he was a hair connoisseur, sarcastically.
“As a man, I like to tell women what men like,” the man said. Xia responded, “Oh, how do you know I like men?” He added, “Well, you should.”
Outdoors Intimacy
The man continued to speak, and a fed-up Xia finally asked him why he approached her. He said, “To flirt with you.” Xia refused to give out her name and said she didn’t want to flirt. Instead of walking away, which she would normally do, according to her, she continued the interaction by saying she was a fairy.
The man, caught off guard, asked her what being a fairy was like. Then, he asked her, “You ever had sex outside?“
Xia said she wasn’t going to entertain that conversation. The man kept insisting about outdoor intimacy, and Xia shut him down completely. And while the individual offered to give her his number, nothing he could say would fix the objective mess he made out of the situation. Eventually, the man, whom Xia called Jesse, walked away after she said she didn’t like men.
“Oh, to be a woman existing,” the Texas woman said.
Reactions
The video sparked multiple responses, mainly from viewers who were appalled by the man’s behavior. One said, “That type is the most dangerous.” Another one commented, “Their inability to understand is frightening.”
Others focused on the man’s outdoor comment. One wrote, “Creepy men always bring up sex, yuucckkk.” Another one added, “They always gotta go sexual.”
In a follow-up, Xia said that he chose to remain put for her own safety. She listened to her body, she said, and told other women to follow theirs.
