A California woman kept finding gnats inside her home until she discovered that her daughter had been using a hole in the wall as a trash can.
The woman shared a video showing herself and her daughter standing in front of the wall, which had a hole the little girl had been using to dispose of trash. At the beginning of the video, the daughter could be seen with tears running down her face as she began removing the items she had thrown inside.
The woman filmed her daughter reaching into the hole and pulling out various pieces of trash, which she placed into a plastic bag her mother was holding. The mother then put her phone through the opening to show what was inside, revealing that the space was completely filled with garbage. Among the discarded items were chicken bones. She ended the video by showing her daughter, who still had tears running down her face.
Alongside the footage, the woman explained that she had discovered the hole after noticing an increase in gnats inside her home. “Y’all we been having gnats in this damn house for TWO WEEKS, and I been searching high and low trying to figure out where they coming from,” she wrote.
The mother then explained how she discovered that her daughter was responsible. “Whole time, my child done turned the WALL into a damn trash can! Like [expletive]?! I’m over here playing detective, and the suspect been living rent-free in my house! I AM SICK OF THESE KIDS,” she added.
In another video, the woman showed herself continuing to clean the hole to ensure no trash remained inside. She revealed that the opening had been there since the summer and admitted that she should have fixed it sooner. Her daughter was also shown helping remove the garbage. “Yes, she got discipline,” the mother said, adding that she believed “kids will be kids.”
