A customer visiting a Boost Mobile store in Columbus, Ohio, experienced an uncomfortable situation when he started recording a dispute with a female employee. The video captures the two exchanging heated words while the man moves through the store with his phone camera on.
The video, posted on Facebook by the customer Bryan Goins and re-posted on X by @Raindropsmedia1, shows the customer with a white patterned beanie over a red bandana, wearing a white long-sleeve shirt, and brown overalls. The employee is in a white Boost Mobile cap and a gray shirt with pink sleeves and stands close to him as they argue.
The man was caught on camera saying, “Why are you so close to me? Don’t touch me,” to which the woman responds, “Get out.” He tells her, “Touch me again,” and the exchange continues with both repeating their lines.
And as the video plays on, the woman suddenly yells, “RAAAAAPE.” The man responds, still holding his phone toward her, “I’m recording your dumb *expletive.*” She continues ordering him to leave, then brings up the store owner, saying, “Y’all, he gonna tell my owner? Get out. Bye. Ain’t gonna get me fired.”
The customer informs her that she could get herself fired from her job. The employee shouts at him once more, telling him to get out of the store. At one point, he makes a remark about her teeth, while she continues shouting, “Get out.”
Internet Reacts to Ohio Boost Mobile Employee’s Heated Exchange With Customer
Viewers had different reactions to the confrontation. One commenter pointed out, “I think it’s funny how ppl forget how cameras work.” Another focused on the employee’s expression, writing, “That little smirk she made…Karen really thought she did something.”
Some viewers felt the customer should have left when asked. “If someone tell you to leave you leave. You don’t argue,” one person commented. However, another viewer wanted more context before judging the situation, asking, “But what were you in there doing???? I would love to see the video showing what happened to make her feel this way.”
Others called for consequences over the accusation. “This needs to come with serious consequences, enough is enough,” one comment read. Another viewer summed up their reaction by saying, “These ppl are lunatics.”
The man walks around the phone-accessory displays as the employee follows him, still yelling. The video begins in the middle of an argument, and it’s unclear what happened before the customer started filming or what initiated the employee’s outburst.
