An Alabama mother was getting fed up by neighbors who couldn’t respect her family or the neighborhood for that matter. In the middle of the night, they would throw parties, play music, and fight loudly next door. After months, she finally said something and her neighbor went berserk!

Posted on TikTok by user Whoamybadman, Sav captured the ensuing meltdown from her Ring camera. Her neighbors had been keeping her and her family awake all hours of the night with their noise, which included partying and arguments. There’s a reasonable level you should expect from neighbors, but for her, it was keeping her and her toddler awake at two in the morning!

**EDIT** I have called the cops for seven months. I have multiple reports. They are overworked and understaffed. I called at 1:48am they got here at 9 am. I have talked every available resource. The city council, the chief of police, the mayor, the lieutenant in my department, the community police, their landlord, my landlord, and 311. My rep reported them to section 8 and they were kicked out of the program 2 months ago. Everyone has advised that suing is my last viable option. I’m a single mother to a special needs child. I have a humble savings for emergencies and that’s it. I have started a gofundme to help with legal fees if anyone would like to help us regain peace in our home. Rac!sm in the comments is so ridiculous. That was not the point of this video and I don’t condone it. I just want peace at home.*** At least she invited me to come party and drink in the midst of her tirade. #verydemureverymindful #badneighbors #ring #fyp

On Sav’s Ring camera, she managed to record the confrontation where Sav had to “ask to turn the music down.” In response, the neighbor berated Sav, calling her all sorts of nasty names, like “ugly,” various expletives, and suggesting Sav wanted to fight her. Sav bursts out laughing and states, “Ain’t nobody going to fight you.” The shouting from Sav’s neighbor goes on for nearly two minutes.

In a follow-up video, the confrontation had gotten so heated, Sav showed herself escorting her “scared” babysitter from the house. She was scared for her safety. You can still hear the neighbors shouting at Sav. “[Expletive] the baby!” the neighbor had said about Sav’s child, who is also a “special needs child,” making the situation even more grim.

According to Sav in the caption of her TikTok video, “I have called the cops for seven months. I have multiple reports.” She also shared she had already been in contact with multiple services, from her landlord to her city council. Now, she said the only step she can take is possibly bringing a lawsuit.

The Internet Reacted With Disgust and Racism

While most of the comments on Sav’s TikTok video targeted the behavior, there was some discourse on the neighbor’s skin color, which Sav didn’t approve of in her caption. Sav wrote in the caption, “Rac!sm in the comments is so ridiculous. That was not the point of this video and I don’t condone it. I just want peace at home.” She even added that her neighbor invited her to a party. Sadly, some racism did squeak through.

In response to why the cops didn’t make an arrest, commenters suggested it was because Black people always cry foul, “Yeah but the cops won’t bc these people are definitely the type to claim police brutality when there isn’t any.” Another wrote, “The risk of the cops being sued for racism and false arrest is too high unfortunately,” despite the fact Black people are disproportionally targeted by police far more than white people.

Others were far more helpful with their comment as opposed to using it for bigotry. Sav was told several times to seek a lawyer. “It’s called a private nuisance. That’s the legal term for when a neighbor’s constant, excessive, and unreasonable noise interferes with your ability to use and enjoy your property,” a viewer wrote.

Sav has since left a comment, stating she started a GoFundMe for lawyer fees and that if anyone wanted to help to donate. “Anything is appreciated. I am so tired. Thanks everyone for the advice,” she wrote.
