There are several ways to get your hands on hard-to-obtain Pals. The first one that comes to mind is Breeding, and the second one is through the mysterious Black Marketeers. That’s right, there is an NPC called Black Marketeer in Palworld that lets you buy or sell Pals “illegally” from him. You do this in exchange for Gold, and if you have plenty of it, you can get extremely rare and good Pals fast.

If you’re using a very fast Flying Pal like Xenolord, for example, the NPC might not properly spawn at his location. When that happens, simply go away for a bit and return to the coordinate… just a bit slowly this time. You can also catch and put them in your Bases to make buying and selling Pals much less of a hassle.
Grass Biome Black Marketeer Locations
1. Windswept Hills Black Marketeer
This earliest Black Market NPC you can meet hides inside an Abandoned Mineshaft at 41, -403. The entrance to his hideout is under the big mountain at 34, -427 coordinates.
2. Hillside Dungeon Black Marketeer
The second one is also located in the Windswept Hills region. Head down from the Sealed Realm of the Frozen Wings fast travel point and see Hillside Cavern. Very close to the entrance of this cave dungeon, you will find this Black Market NPC at 145, -361.
3. Bamboo Groves Black Marketeer
The next Black Marketeer in Palworld is located in the Bamboo Groves region. From the Sealed Realm of the Myriad Flame fast travel point, drop down under the bridge. You will see the entrance to the Cove Mineshaft at -279, 159. Enter, follow the tunnel into -293, -186, and you will find the Black Marketeer.
4. Whisperwind Cliffs Black Marketeer
This one is not far from the Bamboo Groves area — just east of it. From the Whisperwind Cliffs fast travel, go southeast to -94, -356 to find the merchant.
5. Golden Hills Black Marketeer
Another Black Market NPC can be found in the most autumn-looking area of this game. From the Windswept Island Watchtower, head south until you reach the end of the cliff. He can be found at 13, -547 coordinates.
6. Moonless Shore Black Marketeer
Teleport to the Mount Flopie Summit fast travel point and head towards Twilight Dunes. You should find crevices in the ground around -0, -87 coordinates. Go down these crevices, and not far from the waterfall, you can see the Black Marketeer NPC at -20, -94. Alternatively, you can also enter the cave through the -26, -101 shore entrance.
7. Verdant Brook Waterfall Black Marketeer
The closest fast travel point to this NPC is the Verdant Stream Watchtower. Once you reach it, head north towards the Frostbound Mountains following the river. You can find the Black Marketeer at 215, -10 coordinates near the waterfall at the bottom of the Frostbound Mountains.
8. Verdant Brook Cliff Black Marketeer
This NPC is located at the very back of Verdant Brook, between the Dessicated Desert and the Astral Mountains. From the Verdant Stream fast travel point, head east to 142, 175 coordinates. Head to the pointy end of that cliff; he and an Effigy will wait not far from a Free Pal Alliance pillar.

9. Astral Mountains Black Marketeer
The next Black Marketeer is thankfully really close to a fast travel point. He’s standing just beside the Icy Weasel Hill Watchtower fast travel at 38, 216. But if you haven’t unlocked it, simply go to Icy Weasel Hill and follow the path uphill until you see both the NPC and the Watchtower.

10. Duneshelter Black Marketeer
You can find this Black Marketeer just behind the Duneshelter Settlement in the Dessicated Desert region. To be more precise, he’s at 351, 368 coordinates.
11. Desert Secret Mineshaft Black Marketeer
This Black Marketeer is located under the mountains opposite Duneshelter. Go east toward the PIDF Tower to 497, 344. Under that huge mountain, you will see the entrance to a Secret Mineshaft. Follow the tunnel to find the NPC at coordinates 525, 333.

12. Coastline Black Marketeer
This Black Market NPC is located on the far left side of the coast of Mount Obsidian in Palworld. If you’re looking for exact coordinates, he’s at -796, -630 in front of a rock.
13. Mount Obsidian Fortress Black Marketeer
You can find the Ruined Fortress Black Marketeer in the green area at the top of Mount Obsidian. He’s standing in a ruin just beside the river, at -607, -234 coordinates.
