Now, Jolie is taking things to another level by claiming that her former husband was abusive toward her during their marriage.
TMZย reports that theย Taking Livesย star has alleged marital abuse in court documents. In the docs, Jolie claims that Pitt got physical with her during their marriage and long before the 2016 airplane incident that allegedly led to the end of their marriage. At that time, Jolie said that Pitt’s abuse was turned toward one of their six children. However, the actor has denied those claims. He was later cleared of any wrongdoing.

This time around, Angelina Jolie’s lawyers insist that Brad Pitt has a history of physical abuse toward his ex-wife. They also explain that the abuse started before the 2016 situation.
“While Pitt’s history of physical abuse of Jolie started well before the familyโs September 2016 plane trip from France to Los Angeles, this flight marked the first time he turned his physical abuse on the children as well. Jolie then immediately left him,” the court docs state.
Jolie and her lawyers didn’t go into detail about any alleged abuse by Pitt. However, they are definitely hinting that the drama between the exes could be bigger than fans originally believed it to be. Meanwhile, the actress and her lawyers allegedly suspect that Pitt wants Jolie to sign a comprehensive NDA so that she won’t expose any information that could be harmful to him.
Meanwhile, sources close to Brad Pitt claim thatย Angelina Jolie is up to her old tricks. Pitt’s camp reportedly believes that the starlet is trying to stir up trouble to confuse the public.
“This is a pattern of behavior โ whenever there is a decision that goes against the other side they consistently choose to introduce misleading, inaccurate and/or irrelevant information as a distraction,” a friend of Pitt’s told People.
