As part of the Cyber Week, Ubisoft is giving Assassin’s Creed Syndicate for free. While there are other recent games in the franchise, Syndicate was the last one to maintain the “classic” style of the series. It had a compelling story, two protagonists, a fantastic setting, and some amazing gadgets that let you roam the streets of London. If you haven’t had the chance to play it, this is the perfect moment. Players will have more than a week to claim the game for free and play it through Ubisoft Connect.

To claim Assassin’s Creed Syndicate for free, you must head to the giveaway site and use your Ubisoft Connect credentials to get the game. You have until December 6 to claim it. Once you have it, it’s yours to keep. This isn’t a limited-time trial or something similar. It is the full game, and you can keep it forever. This giveaway is only for PC players and through Ubisoft Connect, though. Still, it is a great chance to try this title if you skipped it or want to play it again on a different platform.

Even if the game isn’t the best in the series, it is much better than some of the most recent entries. The reason why many chose to skip this game was due to the horrible launch of Unity that left a huge stain on the series’ reputation. However, Syndicate fixed most issues, brought a great story, and a fun combat system. So, it might be a good time to play this hidden gem in the franchise.

Besides, there’s still a bit of time before we get a new mainline entry, and even if Assassin’s Creed Mirage is out, it’s a bit short, and many players will finish it in a couple of days. So, returning to simpler times of the franchise never hurts, especially if it’s for free.
