Traveling through the colorful Baldur’s Gate 3 world, one of the first places you will visit is Druid Grove. This place is full of green colors and ancient ruins, and soon, you will even have to determine the fate of this place. But no less important, this location is full of treasures, and Shiny Chest is one of them. A small chest on a high platform between two columns seems out of reach. But by giving players gameplay freedom, Baldur’s Gate 3 invites you to use wits to reach the Shiny Chest in Druid Grove.
How To Reach The Shiny Chest in Baldur’s Gate 3
First, it is worth noting that this challenge does not have a single solution. To be more precise, there are many ways to get to Shiny Chest and get its contents. All that can limit you is the ability of your team and imagination. However, here are some of the easiest ways to reach the Shiny Chest in Druid Grove in Baldur’s Gate 3:
- Use the Mage Hand or Misty Step spells.
- You can also throw Void Bulb.
- In addition, you can use the Arrow of Teleportation.
Depending on your team and the items you have, any of these methods can be helpful, so let’s briefly talk about each of them. First, the Mage Hand spell is one of the most convenient ways to get to the Shiny Chest, as you can spawn a ghostly hand next to the chest and choose the Shove option to throw the chest off the ledge. This option is safe for characters and does not require a Spell Slot.
An alternative is to use the Misty Step spell. Your character can teleport to the chest and open or drop it. But unlike the Mage Hand, this variant will require as many as two Level 2 Spell Slots to climb onto the ledge and descend safely.
You can also use Void Bulb to drop the Shiny Chest to the ground. This option is just as good but very situational. After all, your stock may not have this item.
You can also use the Arrow of Teleportation. Your character will automatically move to where the arrow lands, but this method is expensive. In addition, you also have to go down the ledge, leading to additional costs or injuries.
How To Open Shiny Chest in Druid Grove
Whether you open the chest on the ledge or drop it, you still need to know how to open it. You can use Thieves’ Tools paired with Sleight of Hand skill. You can also make your life easier by finding Shiny Key.
Luckily, to find the Shiny Key, you only need to search the bird’s nest near the stone pillars with a chest. But we advise you to entrust this task to a character with maximum Stealth to pick up the key from the nest unnoticed. Otherwise, you will be called a thief, which may slightly affect your communication with the Druids.
The rewards inside the chest are different for each player. But you can expect a small amount of gold and a few items.
