The GPR 91 is another one of those Black Ops 6 assault rifles with super smooth accuracy, but if you use it with the wrong loadout, it may feel a little inconsistent and not at its best. The recoil pattern on this gun is straight up one of the easiest to handle in the game, which allows us to equip some power-based attachments on it. Could we make a loadout that can compete with the likes of XM4 and Model L with this rifle? Let’s find out what’s best for the GPR 91 loadout in BO6.
Best GPR 91 Loadout in BO6
- Fire Mod: Rapid Fire
- Underbarrel: Vertical Foregrip
- Muzzle: Suppressor
- Rear Grip: CQB Grip
- Optic: Kepler Red Dot
So, we have two attachments that can lift the power stats of our weapons in Black Ops 6 right now; the CHF Barrel, and the Rapid Fire mod. The first adds a headshot multiplier damage, which is like basically dealing 3 to 4 more damage while hitting the enemy’s head. Rapid Fire, however, increases the fire rate of your weapon up to 10 or 11 percent at best.
Now the thing that stops players from using these is the massive amount of recoil penalty you’d get. Even with the Compensator and Vertical Grip, you can’t easily control the recoil on most weapons with both of these attachments on, and for an AR, it’s like “bye-bye mid-range combat.”
For the best GPR 91 loadout in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, the CHF Barrel isn’t going to work well. It boosts the headshot damage to 29, which is then combined with the 21 body damage to reach 50 with only two shots. This means 4 shots is a killer, but the horizontal recoil it gives is too inconsistent to deal with.
Testing this AR with the Rapid Fire mod, however, was a huge success. Unlike some other guns that go crazy on recoil when you add to their fire rate, GPR 91 is smooth. As you can see in the image above, we can almost completely kill the horizontal recoil penalty that comes with the Rapid Fire, and then combine it with the Compensator muzzle to reduce the vertical recoil as well.
Now if you’re confident in your aim, you could also let go of the Compensator muzzle and use the Suppressor. Black Ops 6 is a game where most of the focus is on the mini-map rather than hearing the enemy’s footsteps. So if you’re compromised by shooting without a silencer on, you’re probably dead within seconds. Hence, our recommendation for the best GPR 91 loadout in BO6 is to use the Suppressor.
Two final attachment slots we’ve got for the GRR 91 and one of them is the CQB Grip for mobility. Sliding and diving are the core elements of the movement system in Call of Duty, which are doubled down on their importance this year with the Omnimovement. So with the CQB Grip rear grip, we’re trying to reduce the amount of time your weapon is ready to shoot after using those movement mechanics.
Last but not least, an optic would wrap it up for the best GPR 91 loadout in Black Ops 6. The iron sight of the GPR 91 is just too much noise on the screen, but if you can keep up with that, maybe try the Balanced Stock instead of an optic? Test it out.
