The RPK is a very beloved LMG of the Call of Duty: Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2 players due to its quick TTK. However, this LMG received many nerfs in the previous seasons, and you can no longer kill the enemies with 3 shots in any range. But does it mean that RPK is a low-tier weapon? Not so — this firearm still packs a punch in most situations, and here are the best loadouts you can use for it.
Best RPK Loadout for Long Range in Warzone 2
- Barrel: Tac 597 Barrel
- Muzzle: ZLR Talon 5

- Optic: VLK 4.0 Optic or Forge Tac Delta 4
For Warzone 2, you’re probably looking for the most steady build of the RPK. First things first, pick a Tac 597 barrel to increase the damage range and maintain some recoil stabilization. Next, you’ll need a ZLR Talon 5 silencer muzzle to double the price. You can still go for the Lockshot and other muzzles to reduce flinch and recoil. But remember that ZLR Talon 5 increases both the range and the accuracy.
Now for the maximum accuracy and recoil steadiness on this weapon, pick the Demo-X2 Grip for your rear grip. You might be tempted to use the Bracle LS grip here for its stats on the accuracy, but if you try both of these attachments and test them, you’ll find the Demo-X2 much more suitable.
