Enshrouded has players focusing on what skills they need to best fit their gameplay style. Because you aren’t locked to any specific tree, you can choose what you think is best. There are a lot of skills that are ideal for players who are doing co-op with their friends, but we went in completely solo.
We soon realized that there was an easy way to play and a hard way, depending on what skills we equipped ourselves with at the beginning. Fortunately, you can rest your skills if you feel like what you chose previously isn’t working out anymore. We did this more times than we can count. So that you don’t make the same mistakes that we did, let’s go over the best stats for starting solo and the best skill tree in Enshrouded.
Best Starting Skills For Solo Players in Enshrouded
If you’re going to start solo in Enshrouded, the very first skill you should apply your first skill point to is the Endurance slot within the Survivor skill tree. Realistically, you’ll want to get more Endurance and Stamina initially. This makes it so that you won’t run out of Stamina often when running away or gliding down high places. We ask that you do this specifically in the Survivor skill tree because that’s where we will focus our efforts after the next set of skills.
After that, you’ll want to save up two points to grab the Central Skill Merciless Attack. This will allow you to perform a Merciless Attack to deal a massive amount of damage to an enemy you’ve overpowered. The beginning of the game gives you a lot of time to decide how you want to play as you explore Embervale. Because of this, we found that Merciless Attack was incredibly helpful in downing enemies quickly.
Once we got two more skill points, we put them in the Runner skill within the Survivor skill tree. This increases your sprinting speed by 10% and decreases Stamina by 10 per Attribute Point. At this point, Level 5, we started branching out as we had all of the craftspeople and felt more comfortable with how we wanted to move forward.
What’s The Best Solo Skill Tree?
The best skill tree to go down for playing solo has to be the Survivor tree. Within it, you’re giving yourself the real advantage players overlook: staying alive. Yes, picking a gameplay style and a dedicated weapon type is important, but we learned very quickly that you can survive just about any situation if you have a lot of available Stamina.
In many scenarios at the beginning of our adventure, we would run into buildings, grab what we needed, and run out. While this is probably not the greatest approach, it was the most practical for us. We could get the resources we needed while also being able to outrun enemies until they were no longer interested in attacking.
