Call of Duty‘s brand has a unique relationship with leaks and datamined info. Sometimes it’s just the name of an operator in a certain Season, and sometimes we get to know that Treyarch is leaving MW3 Zombies. I mean, these leaks can be huge and the latest one is no exception: It’s been revealed that Call of Duty 2024 is Black Ops Gulf War with a list of all the planned weapons for it a year prior to release.
Black Ops Gulf War Weapons List Is Leaked A Year Before Release
@Vondyispog, a reliant Call of Duty leaker, has posted a picture of a long script that’s assumed to be the Black Ops Gulf War weapons. This list includes 52 guns coming with the game, which is quite awkward comparing the previous years’ CoD games that mostly had under 40 weapons at launch.
As you can see the list just goes on, introducing too many new ARs, SMGs, and other types of guns. However, if we’re treated with all this new content early in Call of Duty 2024, it’ll probably set a new record for the most weapons added to a CoD game at launch. This indicates that not all these new toys will be available by BOGW‘s release, and many of them will be added to the game with later seasonal updates in 2025.
Now, there are many familiar names in this list like the KSP and some new guns from the AK family. But the big elephant in the room is the Dedicated Marksman Rifle weapon category. I’m a little unsure what this is specifically and how these weapons will function in the game. These could be early ideas for later MRs or SRs, but maybe the development team has not decided which category they’ll settle in.
Note that all this info is nothing but a leak. So, as always, take this leaked info of the Black Ops Gulf War Weapons list with a grain of salt. Even though Call of Duty leaks are mostly accurate and turn out to be true, the developers do change some tiny details now and again.
Call of Duty: Black Ops Gulf War is expected to release this year in 2024.
