A black Georgia woman exposed a racist man online after he sent her a chilling threat to spike her drink.
The woman shared a video exposing the man, beginning with a trigger warning for viewers. She explained that she was sharing the video to help people understand what she experiences daily as a black woman and a creator on the left.
In the video, the woman showed how the man sent her two voice messages on Instagram. She played both messages, and their content left viewers shocked. The man began the first voice message by calling the woman the n-word before making a suggestion.
The man told the woman that whenever she goes out, she should avoid leaving her drink unattended and always keep it with her. “Because there just might be someone watching you, right? And just waiting for you to just walk away from that drink,” he said.
The next part of the voice message was even more disturbing, as the man appeared to threaten to spike the woman’s drink. “just so I can dip something inside, right?” he told her. He then called her the n-word again and threatened that she would be targeted. “Nobody’s anonymous and unfortunately, you will be targeted, you [expletive] [racial slur] [expletive].” He ended the threats by saying that he would also take down her account.
While the woman played the voice messages, she also showed information about the man, including that he identifies as a rapper. After the messages ended, she said, “Now, people usually send me hateful comments, but my life has never been threatened like this.” She concluded the video by explaining that she wanted to raise awareness about what the man had said.
The woman also indicated in the comments that police were getting involved, writing, “police report in the works.” She appeared to be shaken by the threats, with teary eyes throughout the video. As of now, it is unclear whether the man has faced any legal consequences despite being identified. It was also claimed online that some people had shown up at his home to confront him.
