The comedy series Killing It on Peacock with Craig Robinson has been renewed for its second season by executive producers and showrunners Dan Goor (Parks and Recreation) and Luke Del Tredici (Brooklyn Nine-Nine). Robinson, Mark Schulman, and Mo Marable serve as executive producers too. Universal Television also produces the series.
“We are immensely grateful to everyone at Universal Television and Peacock. Snake-based economic satire isn’t exactly a familiar, beloved genre of television comedy, but they were fully behind the project from the start. We can’t wait to make more!” said Goor and Del Tredici in a statement.
Killing It returns to Peacock with Craig Robinson
Killing It is a satire comedy about class and capitalism. Audiences follow Craig Robinson in the Peacock series as his character, coincidentally named Craig, tries to achieve the American dream.
The two showrunners wrote all 10 episodes with Carmen Christopher (Shrill), Beau Rawlins (Brooklyn Nine-Nine), and Kira Talise (Insecure). The Peacock comedy stars Craig Robinson, Claudia O’Doherty (Our Flag Means Death), Rell Battle (Superior Donuts), and Scott MacArthur (Halloween Kills). Robin worked with Goor and Del Tredici as he made occasional appearances in Brooklyn Nine-Nine as Doug Judy.
The actor is known for appearing in various Seth Rogan comedies like Zack and Miri Make a Porno, Pineapple Express, and This Is the End. He has made other appearances in Mr. Robot, American Dad, Big Mouth, and The Office. For upcoming projects, he will lend his voice to the animated series Oni: Thunder God’s Tale with Brittany Ishibashi (Runaways), George Takei, and Anna Akana (Jupiter’s Legacy). He is currently filming the animated film The Ark and the Aardvark with Miles Teller, Jenny Slate (Zootopia), Aubrey Plaza, and Stephen Merchant.
Killing It released in April, and all 10 episodes of the Craig Robinson Peacock series are available to watch.
