Diablo 4: Abattoir of Zir Event Release Date
The Abattoir of Zir will be released on December 5 with the new patch 1.2.3. The event will last for 6 weeks in total and will end on January 23, 2024. Although the event is specific to Season of Blood, it is likely to appear again in the following seasons. In fact, developers frequently did this for Diablo 3.
Diablo 4: Abattoir of Zir Event Challenges
To start the Diablo 4: Abattoir of Zir event, you’ll need to complete some objectives and craft some items. Challenging objectives are ahead of you, considering that Abattoir of Zir is a dungeon consisting of 25 levels.
Here’s what you need to know about Abattoir of Zir Event challenges:
- Season of Journey
To access the Diablo 4: Abattoir of Zir event, you’ll need to first complete all 7 stages of Season of Journey.
- Craft Bloodforged Sigil
Once the objectives are completed, visit Occultis and craft Bloodforged Sigil Tier 1. This will cost you 60,000 gold and 800 Sigil Power.
- Get to the entrance
Next, use the Bloodforged Sigil and now teleport to Ked Bardu. Here you will see the Blood Portal, the entrance to the Abattoir of Zir.
- Destroy the enemies
After entering the Abattoir of Zir dungeon, you need to kill all the demons and then the final boss within 10 minutes. As a result, pay close attention to your 10-minute timer.
- Receive your rewards
Upon completing the dungeon, you’ll receive the Tears of Blood Glyph. You can upgrade this Glyph up to level 200 by grinding the dungeon.
Diablo 4: Abattoir of Zir Event Rewards
If you have successfully completed the challenge in the dungeon, you can now receive your reward: the Tears of Blood Glyph. You will also receive many more rewards at the end of the dungeon. Tears of Blood is a Paragon Glyph that gives extra buffs to characters.
It’s possible to upgrade Glyphs from the first level up to level 200. For this, you will need to complete Abattor of Zir’s challenges, reaching level 25. After successfully completing Bloodforged Sigil Tier 1, the recipe for Bloodforged Sigil Tier 2 will be unlocked.
Since the difficulty of the dungeon will increase with each level, we recommend that you get to maximum level before taking it on. Additionally, if you want to level up Glyphs, you’ll receive an NMD Upgrade Totem that gives XP at the end of each Abattoir of Zir dungeon. You can upgrade Glyphs using this totem. As you do this continuously, you can increase your Glyph to the maximum level of 200.
Hopefully, this walkthrough provided everything you need about the Abattoir of Zir event, its dates, challenges, and rewards in Diablo 4.
