Did 90 Day: The Last Resort’s Asuelu Pulaa just redeem himself to fans? We have been closely watching the ups and downs of his relationship with Kalani Faagata lately. The problems really started when Kalani called him out for cheating. They were on a Facetime call, and she noticed his tongue was white with thrush. She called him out, and he admitted it. It was slimy of him and was very hard to watch.
What happened next was even weirder, though. He thought if he gave her a hall pass (which means she could cheat on him once, too) that all would level. Unfortunately, when she did, she got feelings for the guy she cheated with. Yeah, it’s been a lot to unpack. But has his run on The Last Resort shown a more mature and understanding version of himself?
Did 90 Day: The Last Resort’s Asuelu Pulaa Just Genuinely Redeem Himself?
A big part of his being seen as better was the way he apologized to Kalani. Dude was obviously beside himself and ugly crying, seemingly aware of what he had done and the damage it did. He is also trying to be more levelheaded about how he reacts to her indiscretion. An indiscretion he ultimately encouraged. But now the two can genuinely work out their issues, and they are trying to.
Did 90 Day: The Last Resort’s Asuelu Pulaa just redeem himself to fans? Kind of. He is definitely showing personal growth and maturity, but still has a way to go in his personal life. We commend him for holding himself accountable, though. That is very refreshing to see on this show. The Last Resort definitely ups the class of this iconic series. Who would’ve thought watching other people get therapy would be so damn entertaining? Man, these producers sure know what they’re doing.
