Sony has announced what games will be free for PlayStation Plus members for May. There will be six games in total that will be free, which is spread across PS4, PS3, and Vita.
For the PS4, Beyond: Two Souls, King Oddball, and Rayman Legends will be up for grabs. It comes to no surprise that Beyond: Two Souls will be free, as developers are releasing Detroit: Become Human on May 28, 2018. Beyond: Two Souls was originally released for the PS3, but got remade for the PS4 on a later date.
King Oddball is actually available for all three platforms, so players can choose which platform to play this game on. The PS3 has Eat Them and Risen 3: Titan Lords. Eat Them is a blast from the past as it was released December 21, 2010. Old school gamers may remember the game, but it was only scored six point five out of ten on IGN.
Vita however, only has one other game besides King Oddball up for grabs which is Furmins. This is a relatively newish game that was released on February 2, 2012. The game is a physics game where the player has to do a few puzzles to complete the game.
It is not too late for PS Plus members to grab April’s free games. Players are able to grab these games till May 1, 2018. There is slightly less games for the PS4 for the coming month than there was for April. In April, there was Mad Max, TrackMania Turbo, In Space We Brawl, 99Vidas, and Q*Bert: Rebooted for the PS4. For Vita there was 99Vidas and Q*Bert: Rebooted, and for PS3 there was In Space We Brawl, Toy Home, 99Vidas, and Q*Bert: Rebooted.
