NBC has revealed their latest poster for the upcoming miniseries “Heroes Reborn.”
The poster, as you can see below, features what looks likes to be the main cast of the series. The actors and actresses are, from left to right,Judith Shekoni, Gatlin Green, Zachary Levi, Jack Coleman, Ryan Guzman, Kiki Sukezane, and Robbie Kay.
The bottom of the poster also states that it will be “followed by The Blacklist,” which could potentially be the lead in this miniseries needs.
The first season of “Heroes” averaged about 13.7 million viewers per episode back in 2007 and was met with critical acclaim, with many hailing it as an overall strong show and one of the best programs of the year. However, each year the viewership as well as critical acclaim subsequently dropped each season, leaving many to question how Reborn will fare, both in terms of viewership and critical response.
The new poster seems to make it clear that this is the main cast, despite the lengthy trailer, that you can view here, featuring several familiar faces from the previous seasons, such as Masi Oka’s Hiro and Greg Grunberg’s Matt Parker.
Finally, the post’s backdrop is in the arctic wastelands that are featured in the trailer. The trailer features the snowy wastelands several times accompanied with several intriguing scenes. This possibly indicates that this environment will be an important part of the mini series, as was the poster for season 1 with the eclipsed sun. If the main focus of the series is people with powers and how they lead their lives, why would the poster focus on an arctic location where populations are usually a bit lower?
Heroes Reborn takes places several years after the events of the main series, with the existence of people with powers called “EVOs.” These people are met with fear and disdain in most countries, but must come together to stop a cataclysmic event that could destroy the world.
Heroes Reborn debuts Thursday, September 24th at 8PM on NBC.
