Are you looking for help completing the “A Monstrous Collection 3” quest in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom? You have come to the right place. In this part of the five-quests-long questline, you have to take a picture of Battle Talus for Kilton at Tarrey Town. It is a Stone Talus that’s been reinforced by planks and Bokoblins, making it a tough enemy to face head-on. Nevertheless, as mentioned before, your job isn’t to defeat them.

Kilton now asks Hudson to craft a Battle Talus sculpture. Of course, you don’t have to defeat the Talus and the Bokoblins on it to complete “A Monstrous Collection 3” in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. Just take the picture and run.

Battle Talus usually can be found roaming around the Hyrule Field, Hyrule Ridge, and Tabatha Frontier. The Hyrule Compendium mentions that it can also spawn in the Tabatha Frontier Depths, but it seems to be much rarer there. Instead, you will want to head over to Romani Plains or Orsedd Bridge in Hyrule Field or Kolami Bridge for Tabatha Frontier. After one has been spotted, complete “Monstrous Collection 3” in the game Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom by following these steps:

  1. Activate the Camera feature on the Purah Pad by pressing the L button.
  2. Align your target and make sure that the Battle Talus is in the frame. If the framing is correct, the creature’s name should appear on your screen.
  3. Then press the A button to take a photo. Remember to save the photo in your Album, as it is the only way to show it to Kilton.
  4. Remember that photos submitted to the Compendium won’t work for this quest. And the creature’s pose in the photo will be used as the sculpture pose too.
  5. This part can be skipped if there’s a Battle Talus photo in your Album and you can proceed to complete “Monstrous Collection 3” Zelda Quest.

Once done, place the statue with Ultrahand and talk with Kilton or Hudson again. Kilton will thank you for another job well done. You will be rewarded with a Monster Bridle that can be equipped on your Horse. With this, you have completed the Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom “A Monstrous Collection 3” Side Adventure.
