“The Forgotten Relics” in Disney Dreamlight Valley is the first part of “The Dark Castle” questline. This mission tasks players to help Merlin collect a number of Relics shrouded in Forgotten’s Dark Magic. This Dark Magic seems to bleed through the fabric of reality and is now invading the peaceful Valley. Now it is up to you to help Fairy Godmother and Merlin to save the Valley from the Forgotten.

Quest Objectives:

  • Merlin must be done with his investigations by now…
    • Talk to Merlin.
    • Follow Merlin to Mickey’s House.
    • Enter Mickey’s House.
    • Search Mickey’s House to find something imbued with the Forgotten’s Dark Magic.
    • Bring the Forgotten Storybook to Merlin.
  • Search for Forgotten Relics around the Village and uncover the stories behind them (0/4).
  • Forgotten Relics: The Storybook.
  • Forgotten Relics: The Blanket.
  • Forgotten Relics: The Beach Toys.
  • Forgotten Relics: The Drawing.
  • The Dark Castle.
    • Bring the Forgotten Relics to Merlin.

Forgotten Relic #1: The Forgotten Storybook

The first Relic is located inside Mickey’s House, which is the Storybook. Merlin will guide you there, so just follow the quest indicator, and you will be fine. Go inside Mickey’s House and grab the Book on the coffee table to trigger a new objective. Talk with Mickey to complete this part of the quest.

Forgotten Relic #2: The Blanket

Now for the second Relic, head over to Frosted Heights. Go to the cave where you met Olaf for the first time, and you should be able to find the Blanket. Pick it up, and the new objective should be activated. Speak with Olaf and Elsa to finish this one.

Forgotten Relic #3: The Drawing

The Drawing is the third Relic in “The Forgotten Relics” Disney Dreamlight Valley quest. You can find this piece of paper with a lion picture on it in the Sunlit Plateau. To be precise, it is inside Scar’s House unless you have moved his house somewhere else. You should be able to easily spot it once you go inside the house. A new objective will appear then talk with Scar to complete it.

Forgotten Relic #4: The Beach Toys

Meanwhile, the Beach Toys, the last Relic, is where you met Ursula. The cave was hidden in the Dazzle Beach area. Look to the left of the cave entrance, and you should see a blue bucket and an orange toy shovel. Pick them up to trigger “The Forgotten Relics: Beach Toys.” Go to Ursula and speak with Moana, and you’re done with this quest!
