The sky islands in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom will give you different challenges from the surface map. When you reach the Sokkala Sky Archipelago, you will find an incomplete shrine that needs you to grab its crystal. If you are having problems moving around this sky island, we are here to help. Let’s go over how to open the Natak Shrine and complete The Sokkala Sky Crystal in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom.

After activating The Sokkala Sky Crystal side quest in Tears of the Kingdom, you will see the beam for the crystal directing you to the nearby giant floating orb in the sky. To easily get over to it, go to the turnstile and turn the launchpad towards it. Jump on the pad, wait for it to send you over, and glide into the hole above it.

When you enter the orb, you will see the sky crystal behind a rotating mechanism. In front of that rotating orb is a platform with a couple of Zonaite Springs.

  1. Start by taking the crystal and placing it on the Spring. Be sure not to attach it.
  2. With the Sokkala Sky Crystal in place, use Ultrahand on that rotating mechanism and spin it to make the hole in the orb move.
  3. Avoid rotating it vertically, just horizontally. Set it so the hole is in front of the Springs.

Once everything is lined up right, hit the Springs and launch the Sokkala Sky Crystal toward the shrine. Give it a few seconds. If you notice that the crystal does not reappear in the orb, then it is sitting on the sky island outside. Hit the Spring again to reload it, jump on it yourself, and send yourself out of the orb back toward the sky island. If you want to get a Sage’s Will, you can rotate the orb vertically to open up a way to get into the bottom half of the orb.

Once back outside, you only need to locate the crystal and deliver it to the shrine to open it. The Natak Shrine is a Rauru’s Blessing Shrine, so there are no additional puzzles to complete. Go in, open the treasure chest, and claim the Blessing of Light. That is all you need to know about how to open the Natak Shrine and complete The Sokkala Sky Crystal in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom.
