Tukarok Shrine inย Zelda: Tears of the Kingdomย contains an extensive challenge where you must guide a ball on a journey through the dungeon. If you’re familiar with “ball contraptions” as a child, you’ll likely see some resemblances in this Shrine’s multiple puzzles. But the process is much more hands-on than automated. You’ll use your Ultrahand ability to assemble andย utilize the available Zonai Devicesย to progress through Shrine while taking the ball with you. “Forward Force” is the name of Tukarok Shrine’s multi-puzzle challenge inย Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.ย

The Tukarok Shrine location is in Lanayru Wetlands, east of Lookout Landing inย Tears of the Kingdom. If you explore the woodlands south of the Wetland Stable by the Hylia River, you eventually encounter the Shrine’s entrance. For reference, the Wetland Stable is where you can start the optional quests “An Uninvited Guest” and “Missing Farm Tools.”

After you’ve entered Tukarok Shrine inย The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, you’ll notice a round pit near a locked door. You’ll return to this room later, as it’s the entryway to the Light of Blessing. Continue onward and drop down into the lava-filled room ahead to find the Shrine’s first puzzle. Follow the steps to proceed:

  1. Use the Ultrahand to attach the ball to the four-wheeled device.
  2. Strike the wheels of the car-like mechanism to automatically drive across the pool of lava. Make sure Link’s riding the vehicle with the ball as well.

Alternatively, you get on the vehicle, activate it, and then grab the ball, holding it as you cross the lava.

Next is a challenging puzzle with a large-gapped stairway, a block, a wheel, and a plank. Here’s what you need to do to solve this Tukarok Shrine puzzle inย Tears of the Kingdom:

  1. Attach the ball to the top of the block.
  2. Fuse the wheel to the side of the block so that its rim faces the stairs.ย
  3. Grab the nearby stone plank and stick it onto the wheel.
  4. Shoot the wheel with a projectile; your contraption should “row” itself up the staircase.

The next section of “Forward Force” in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdomย somewhat reuses the logic of the previous puzzle solution. What we mean is that this time, you’ll attach two planks to the wheels of the raft on the water. Hit the wheels; the device will then function like a paddleboat, slowly moving across the pool. You can climb the ladder nearby to reach to the side.

However, before you continue “Forward Force” in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, check the submerged area between the two walls of the pool to find a Treasure Chest. You can use your Ultrahand to fish it out and loot it. Cross to the other side and place the ball on the pressure plate to open the door. Finally, lift the ball for the last time and move it into the round pit. The final entryway will open, and you can complete your Tukarok Shrine walkthrough in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
