This unusual collar has an interesting story behind it and is not an essential item to find, but you can still pick it up to use it in the Arcane Tower later. Before you can do that, you need to find it, and it’s actually very easy.

Foremost, in the first act, go to the Susser Tree waypoint. When you’re there, head south to the very end of the area at the following coordinates: X:-40, Y:-210. There will be enemies on your way if you haven’t explored this area before, so be prepared for a fight. When you arrive at the right coordinates, you will notice several stone pillars with a small tombstone between them.

Here, you will need to dig up the grave, where you will be able to find the Dog Collar in Baldur’s Gate 3. From the description of the item, you can learn that this collar belonged to a large dog named Myrna. If you didn’t know, the mistress of this dog was Lenore, who is also the owner of Arcane Tower. This leads us to the logical conclusion that this collar can be used there.

Now, let’s take a look at how to use Dog Collar in Baldur’s Gate 3. As you might have guessed, Arcane Tower will be your next waypoint. It is located in the same Underdark at the following coordinates: X:20, Y:-300. When you get inside, you’ll need to make your way to the main bedroom on the second floor. There, you will find a dog bowl and a button near it. To interact with it, you’ll need to put the collar on you or one of your group members and press the button. When you do, you will get a Rare Steak, which gives you 10 camp supplies. Note that you can use the collar only once, after which it will be useless. After use, you can either dispose of it or sell it for 20 gold.
