As if reeling in megalodons and colossal squid wasn’t weird enough, you might end up pulling in a hulking Nuke in Roblox Fisch. You might have even seen a notification of nuclear bombs going off in the server. That’s someone setting one off or some unfortunate soul who failed the Nuke minigame. And the crazy part is Nukes are pretty darn nice to have in Roblox Fisch, so if you want one too, I’ll show you how to get one.
How to Get Nukes in Roblox Fisch (& What They’re For)
To be honest, getting Nukes in Roblox Fisch is painfully simple: You have to fish for one. Who would’ve thought! Of course, the frustrating part is the odds of actually getting a Nuke. You have a 1-in-50000 chance of reeling in a Nuke or 0.002% chance.
However, there is a way to speed the process up and you’ll need the following items:
- A rod with high Luck and high Lure stats
- Rapid Catcher or Worm bait
- Lots of patience
While it isn’t known whether Luck actually factors in, we won’t take any chances. What will affect the odds is a higher Lure Speed. If you’re catching fish at a faster rate, then you’re essentially rolling the dice more often. It’s a way of indirectly improving your odds.
The Rapid Catcher and Worm bait are found in Bait Crates, but Rapid Catchers are better. You can get them in Quality Bait Crates. If you want to improve your Luck more, visit Merlin and pay for a Luck Boost.
When you do manage to reel in a Nuke in Fisch, a minigame will start, and it’s almost identical to the fishing minigame. You have to keep the Nuke balanced for 10 seconds, keeping the dial near the center using the Q and E keys. Otherwise, it explodes on your location.
If you launch it into the waters around, say, the Ancient Isle, you’ll see a small zone surrounding by a green ring. Any fish you catch inside that zone will have a near guarantee of having the nuclear mutation, boosting their value by four times.
Ideally, you want to set off the Nuke in areas with valuable fish. For example, the Captain’s Goldfish at Forsaken Shores are great for leveling up and have good value, too. Snowcap Island is also a fantastic spot, given the Colossal Squid’s high value or, if you want to make some serious money, the Megalodon on Ancient Isle.
