Easily being able to get around is one of the most important things you can do in Enshrouded. Getting the Grappling Hook instantly resolves this problem. You can cross broken bridges and get to secret areas with this trusty item. You can’t just find this item lying around in Embervale, like some of the other random things you can find, however. Let’s make your journey easier and dive into how to get and craft the Grappling Hook in Enshrouded.
Where to Get the Grappling Hook in Enshrouded
The Grappling Hook is a craftable item in Enshrouded. To get to it, open up your workbench menu by walking to a Workbench and going to the Survival section. You can also go into the game’s menu using the Escape key on your keyboard, pressing the Menu button on an Xbox controller, and heading to your Journal. In the Journal area, select the Workshops option and find the Workbench. You won’t be able to build in this menu unless you are in front of the Workbench itself.
To create the Grappling Hook, you need:
- Four Metal Scraps
- Seven Strings
- Ten Shroud Spores
Once it’s crafted, put it in your Hotbar and select it to bind it to your character permanently.
What Is The Grappling Hook Used For?
You can craft and use the Grappling Hook in Enshrouded in places where you can grapple the end of ledges. These locations are primarily around broken bridges, in Elixir Wells, and in different craftsperson’s vaults. We definitely needed to have it when we needed to find the Carpenter since the bridge to get there required using the Grappling Hook two times.
Enshrouded is available in early access on Steam.
