Futuristic weapons and laser rifles are cool, but what about the classic guns? Fortunately, Starfield has several types of weapons known classified as Old Earth. You might get nostalgic and want a good old classic to set you apart from other characters, so we’ll show you how to get the M1911 Old Earth Pistol in Starfield. This pistol may be more than 300 years old, but it hasn’t lost its power. Below, we’ve outlined the methods you can use to get this weapon and kill your enemies in an old-school way.

To get this weapon, you don’t need to complete a mission because none of the modern population will give old pistols as a reward. Don’t worry, getting a vintage is much easier than you thought, and we’ve found two main ways to do it.

Buy From a Merchant

Fortunately, there are still those who have kept such old weapons and are ready to sell them. While exploring the planets, we found only 3 such places, namely:

  • Rowland Arms: a small shop in the heart of Akila. You can visit it to buy a pistol and other cool weapons.
  • Laredo Firearms: located in the same Akila city, but not so close to the center.
  • Centaurian Arsenal: a store located in the main city of the game, namely New Atlantis. It is not difficult to get here, just exit the spaceport and move to the Residential District, where you will notice a weapons shop.

Luckily, the gun will be available for purchase at level 1, so you can use it as soon as you start the game.

Steal a Weapon

If you want to save your credits, there are alternative methods. You can loot the corpses of enemies or just pickpocket to get weapons. It’s not easy, as few people carry an Old Earth Pistol with them nowadays, but there are still chances.

The more practical method would be to rob the weapons depot aboard the ECS Constant. To do this, you will need to do the following:

  1. Get to the Poriima star system. This is not difficult, as it is located on the right near Alpha Centauri.
  2. Here, above the planet Paradiso, will be an ancient ECS Constant ship that you need to get into.
  3. When you are inside, go searching for the local armory.
  4. Once you find it, go inside to loot the weapons, including the M1911 Old Earth Pistol.

This method is certainly the hard way, but at least won’t cost you any credits.
